Belkin Debuts 720P Netcam HD Wi-Fi Camera

Belkin has debuted a new wireless networking camera with 720p output. The Belkin NetCam HD Wi-Fi Camera providers users with instantaneous access to their home, office, and other locations via smartphone and tablet-based devices.

The 720P NetCam HD also provides buyers with access to digital audio.

Belkin has created a simple to use system that requires only two steps to get started. Users download the free Belkin NetCam app for their Android or iOS device and then connect the camer to their home’s Wi-Fi router to begin streaming video and audio to their mobile device(s).

The Belkin NetCampapp also allows users to customize the camera’s offerings through email notification when motion is detected. Users can also choose to record video directly to their phone or tablet. This last option means a thief could steal a users computer and Netcam but still be caught in the act even after the home-based hardware is stolen.

The Belkin NetCam HD Wi-Fi Camera is already on sale at major retailers. The NetCam HD app is downloadable via the Apple App Store for iOS 4.2 and later. Android 2.02 or greater users can download the free app from the Google Play store.
