Conflicting reports have emerged over the state of Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship.
Brown revealed in an interview with Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106 on Friday afternoon that he and Rihanna had in fact split up.
The interviewer for the programme asked Brown, “Are you still with Rihanna?” “Uh, no – that’s the short answer,” replied the rapper.
The radio station then revealed the news to the internet, by releasing a tweet that read, “”Are stil w/ @Rihanna?” @ChrisBrown: “Uh,no-that’s the short answer” just now to @BigBoy POWER 106 LA @TuneIn.”
The interview has yet to air, but was recored this week and it is though that they plan to release it in segments over the next few days.
People have questioned whether the statement is true, but Power 106 responded to these allegations by stating, “We wouldn’t have tweeted it if it wasn’t true.”
Rihanna also sent a cryptic Twitter message on Friday morning to her followers, stating, “This is terrible.”
However she soon deleted this, and replaced it with a message about her star sign, stating, “It’s the heart of a #Pisces that makes us soft mannered BUT is that same heart of a #Pisces that will make us get in your ass if needed.”
However the claims that Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship is in trouble were then quashed, after a source to Hollywoodlife.com told the publication that Chris is currently having a hard time spending time apart from the singer.
“He’s been busy working,” stated the source. “Being apart from her takes a toll on him and her. She badly wants his a** out there, but he can’t just jump up and go every time she asks. He’s trying to be there for her and spend time with her while she is doing her thing, but he gotta do his s*** too.”
