While von Neumann may be a Baroness, the story of her life reads more like that of an enchanted fairytale princess. She was born to a working class Detroit family. Monica and her mother moved to Los Angeles when she was just five. She took a bit of Motown with her, according to her business website. While living in Detroit she “mingled” with Little Richard, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, and Barry Gordy. As a teenager she toured with Devo and Nina Simone and studied dance with Roland Dupree.

A Radar insider source had this to say about the RHOBH supposed meeting with the Baroness:

“It went really well. She had them cracking up. The producers asked her about her past and why she’s a Baroness. They appear to really love the idea of having her on the show.”

Baron von Neumann died of cancer in 2003. Baroness Monica von Neumann started the journey which led her to become a very successful businesswoman. She has been fondly referred to by some as the “Black Martha Stewart.” The goal of her business is reportedly to make luxurious products readily accessible to everyone.
