My Chemical Romance Fans Petition For Farewell Tour

Distraught My Chemical Romance fans have started a petition to try to get the band to play one more tour before they depart the musical world forever.

The rockers announced their split over the weekend, which was then followed by an essay from their former frontman, Gerard Way, explaining why they had gone their separate ways.

The petition has now amassed over 6,000 signatures, and the group behind the list has noted that the band owe their fans, “one last world tour to say goodbye to their fans.”

“They ended so abruptly without saying goodbye to their fans properly, and the MCRmy is upset,” stated the campaign’s organiser, Cameron Lee. “They need to do it correctly if they’re going to do it at all.”

Further comments came from as far as Poland, where fan by the name of Sylvia, remarked, “My Chemical Romance just saved my ******* life. They told me that I can not stop running and I can’t believe, that this is the end. I want to go to the last concert because I dream of [giving] them a little ‘Thank you’.”

“This band has impacted my life in so many ways, and I don’t think that I would be the same person today without them,” wrote Tabitha from Florida. “A fan for seven years, and it has been my dream to see them and meet them. Without them, it’s hard. It’s hard trying to accept that I might not ever get to say my thank yous. I love them, sincerely. They were my friends when I had none. They are my heroes.”

The petition needs to reach 10,000 supporters to reach its goal after which the band will at least know how devoted and passionate their fan base is.
