Tom Sizemore Assault: Actor Reportedly Attacked By Date’s Boyfriend [Video]

Authorities in California have reportedly arrested a man that they say attacked actor Tom Sizemore at his apartment in downtown Los Angeles.

According to the L.A. Times, Sizemore and a female guest were at his South Main Street home Thursday evening when a unnamed man showed up claiming to have a gun.

The man, who reportedly was the jealous boyfriend of the woman in Sizemore’s home, threatened the actor and then proceeded to put the 51-year-old in a headlock before taking off with guitars and several other items.

LAPD officers eventually tracked down the assailant, who was booked on suspicion of assault, and charged with one count apiece of grand theft and vandalism. Bail has been set at $100,000.

Sizemore’s stuff was recovered after the man was arrested.

Known for playing a tough-guy on the big screen, Sizemore is no stranger to law enforcement.

In August 2003 he was convicted of misdemeanor charges of physically abusing and harassing his ex-girlfriend, the infamous “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss.

In March 2005 the Black Hawk Down actor was sentenced to 7 months in jail and four months in drug treatment for repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation. He was again arrested in 2007 for possession of methamphetamines and sentenced to 16 months in prison.

His last arrest came in 2011, when police busted the actor outside of a Los Angeles apartment building where they were conducting an ongoing drug investigation.

Though Sizemore was not carrying any drugs at the time of the incident, police still took him into custody after discovering that he had an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor battery, issued over a 2009 case involving his then-girlfriend.
