‘LOST’ Star Josh Holloway Joins CBS Drama ‘Intelligence’

LOST‘s Josh Holloway has a new home with the CBS drama Intelligence.

The actor, best known for his starring role as James “Sawyer” Ford in J.J. Abrams’ island drama LOST has been tapped to star in CBS’s drama pilot Intelligence, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series is about US Cyber Command, a unit created around one agent who has cybernetic enhancements. Specifically, he has a microchip implanted in his brain that lets him access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Deadline reports that Holloway’s role is Gabriel Black, described as a former Navy SEAL and dedicated intelligence officer. It’s not clear whether or not Holloway stars in the central role of the series.

Michael Seitzmen (North Country) will write the pilot and executive produce the series if it gets picked up. No Ordinary Family‘s David Semel will also executive produce, as well as direct the pilot. Tripp Vinson will round out the team of executive producers.

Holloway’s participation marks his first starring role since his six seasons on LOST. Since his days as Sawyer, Holloway has starred in Lifetime’s anthology Five, and had a guest role on NBC’s Community in the second season finale. He also has feature film credits including Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol and Whisper
