50 Cent is a rapper as well as a businessman, but he’s also dabbled in the acting world. Apparently, 50 will have a role in Shane Black’s Predator reboot , according to Bloody-Disgusting .

Twentieth Century Fox will be releasing this Predatorreboot, titled The Predator, on March 2, 2018. While speaking with Sirius XM’s Shade 45, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson specifically stated that he will be in more than one film, one of them being Shane Black’s The Predator.

“I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I’ll do Predator ,” said 50 Cent, who also confirmed in another interview that he “ might ” be involved with the project. “I’m working on some new projects. You heard of the movie Predator ? I might be a part of that project this summer.”

Black is currently trying to get the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger back as Dutch for the reboot. Schwarzenegger’s track record at the box office in the last several years hasn’t really been all that great, so perhaps working with such an accomplished director like Shane Black, on one of the classic films of the ’80s, will be a good move. The possibility of seeing 50 Cent in a scene with Arnold in this context is also pretty interesting, considering that the two have already worked together in Escape Plan .

50 Cent is probably going to wait until his current court battle is over with before he or the studio will confirm his involvement in the Predator reboot. The “Candy Shop” rapper grabbed the attention of the law when he started flashing money on his Instagram page, even though he had filed for bankruptcy.

Recently in court, the rapper was scolded by a judge who basically told him to quit flashing all of that money on his social media if he is truly bankrupt. 50 Cent claimed he was $28 million in debt when he first filed for bankruptcy last summer. He’s been reprimanded for bringing his cell phone into the courtroom and is now banned from ever doing so again.

“While you’re in this courthouse, there is nothing funny going on. This is very serious stuff. I would appreciate it very much if we could keep it that way,” Judge Nevins firmly stated. “You should all have been advised that there are no electronic devices in this courtroom and that has been extended to conference rooms. I’m not telling anybody how they can exercise their rights to free speech, but I want to keep things very serious here.”

This seems like a fair point, given that 50 Cent’s social media is largely the reason he is in court to begin with. Being distracted by his phone while the Judge is speaking is only going to make things worse for him. But, Judge Nevins did have one positive thing to say about the rapper; she was glad he actually showed up in court .

“By being present Mr. Jackson has made significant strides toward getting this case moving,” she said. And it looks as if after getting a talking-to from Judge Nevins, 50 Cent may be toning it down with the social media posts. 50 Cent was asked about the social media posts after the hearing, to which the rapper simply replied, “Instagram? Nah, that’s not me anymore.” How long this lasts, only time will tell. But after taking a look at his most recent Instagram photos, 50 hasn’t been flashing any dollar bills.

Instead, 50 Cent just continues to promote his business ventures, like his Vodka, Effen Vodka, and his show Power on Showtime. Outside of that, 50 Cent may be collaborating with longtime friend and record label mate, Eminem. Em is supposedly working on putting an album out in 2016 and the two have been rumored to have spent time in the studio together.
