Barack Obama has surprised numerous visitors on a White House tour by shaking their hands as they walked through the oval office. You can check out a video of the incident below.
President Obama , alongside his wife Michelle, were able to shock a series of visitors to their home by greeting each of them individually, shaking their hands, and asking them about how their visit has been. Obama even fist bumped one guest, named Trevor, and then patted him on the back with a huge smile across his face.
One women was so moved by the incident that she openly wept in front of the President and then found herself struggling to stand as she stood before the duo. Obama then hugged the woman and also embraced the first lady, whilst another guest simply jumped into Barack’s arms, to which he responded, “I think she’s got the giggles.”
Mrs. Obama revealed through her Twitter account, @FLOTUS, about her and the Presidents plan before hand, writing, “Shhhh! Barack, Bo & I are about to surprise folks on @WhiteHouse tours! I love doing this. Watch here: we.gov/live -mo.”
However, the pair did have a few problems with the family dog, Bo, as he continuously paraded around the room unattended. Michelle commented, “He doesn’t know where to sit,” as the dog jumped onto numerous pieces of furniture whilst Barack attempted to quell their canine.
The President was seen to shout, “Off! Off!” at the animal before telling a guest, “He was thinking, ‘Can I chew that’?”
