‘Alaskan Bush People’: Ami Brown Present As Season 8 Filming Resumes [Report]

Alaskan Bush People fans will be happy to hear that the Brown family has started filming Season 8 of the popular reality show, this according to the non-fan Facebook page, ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Exposed. The page’s curator has confirmed that the Browns are in Colorado and that camera crews have been documenting their lives, as matriarch Ami Brown is on a break from chemotherapy.

“There is not much of an update. All the Browns except for Bam are in Colorado and filming. Ami will be returning shortly to Los Angeles and continue her second round of chemo,” read Monday’s Facebook update.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Browns had been in Los Angeles, where Ami was receiving treatment for stage III lung cancer. Several weeks after Ami finished her first round of treatment, she and her doctors decided to start another round, but this time, Ami reportedly got very sick and had to stop. She and some of her family members (including her husband, Billy, and daughter, Rain) hopped in a car and road-tripped to Colorado.

Everyone except for Bam has been seen in Colorado — including Noah and Gabe. It is unclear how long the Browns will be staying in Colorado, but ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Exposed reports the family will be heading back to Los Angeles in the near future and that Ami will be resuming chemotherapy once more. It is presumed television cameras will be following the Browns on the journey back west and that Ami’s health will be a big focus for Season 8.

Fans who have been along for the ride for the previous seven seasons seem happy to hear that the Browns will be back on television and that Ami is feeling well enough to be a part of the show. After Season 7 ended, there was some concern that the show would be on hiatus indefinitely because of Ami’s health. Now, however, it seems as though things are moving forward and that Ami will get to spend some time in the living rooms of ABP fans all over the country soon. There has not been an official release date at this time, but early 2018 is probably a safe bet.
