‘RHOBH’ Camille Grammer Scores Big Payday From Ex Kelsey Grammer

RHOBH Camille Grammer and her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, divorced years ago, but the two had one last piece of financial business to settle. Recently a judge signed an order that Kelsey Grammer, 62, needs to pay Camille Grammer, 49, half of the money in his 401k account. Kelsey Grammer now owes Camille 50 percent of the funds in his 401k account up until June 29th of 2010.

Add this new payday to the rest of the money ($30 million) Camille Grammer received when she divorced Kelsey Grammer, and it’s clear that Camille doesn’t need to work on Bravo’s RHOBH. But after a few year’s break, Camille Grammer has decided to return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Camille Grammer says that she had created a mental pro and con list over whether to return to the RHOBH, and the money was never a factor in deciding to return to the Bravo series.

“So the pros and cons are: How much do I want the public to see my life? And also I have two children. I want to protect them from certain things; I’m a very protective mother. Maybe if I was married I’d do it. But as a single mom, I feel more exposed. I don’t have the support. I have a boyfriend, we just started dating the last several months. And again, do I want to throw him into the mix? Oh my god, the craziness of it.”

RHOBH Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer split in 2010 and settled things in 2012 with their official divorce. But the outstanding item was the division of Kelsey Grammer’s 401k account. Last month, the judge made it official that Kelsey Grammer must pay half of the money he has saved in his 401k to his ex, Camille Grammer. Reportedly, Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer did not have a prenuptial agreement when they got married. Their marriage dissolved on camera on RHOBH when Kelsey Grammer went to New York to star in a play on Broadway and started seeing someone else.

Perhaps next to Camille Grammer’s $30 million divorce settlement, the 401k check might not seem like a big deal, but most people would take it. Kelsey Grammer now owes Camille a check for an ironic amount, reportedly $401,00 from the 401k of Kelsey Grammer. The judge in the case issued a statement.

“The Alternate Payee is awarded, as her sole and separate property, 50 percent of the Participant’s Account balance as of June 29, 2010.”

Camille Grammer and ex Kelsey Grammer share two children, daughter Mason, 16, and son Jude, 13. Since Kelsey Grammer and Camille divorced, Kelsey married his mistress, Kayte Walsh, and together they have three children. Kelsey Grammer has two other adult children.

Are you surprised that RHOBH Camille Grammer and Kelsey Grammer are still handling financial details seven years after their divorce?
