Young and the Restless ( Y&R ) spoilers tease that the Abbotts face challenges after the truth emerges that Dina (Marla Adams), and not Nick (Joshua Morrow), was responsible for the fire at The Underground. Viewers learn during the Wednesday, November 1 episode of the daytime drama that Dina is responsible the fire. She wandered out and went to The Underground, and in a state of mental confusion set the building on fire. She burned old photos of Brent Davis (Bert Kramer) and left them on the bar. She was too mentally confused to know what she was doing. She left The Underground without realizing she had set the place on fire and trapped the twins — Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) — and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) inside the building.
Y&R viewers had thought it was Nick who caused the fire after he handled matches carelessly while trying to light a jack-o’-lantern. He was fuming over the shocking news he just received that Victor (Eric Braeden) had bought The Underground’s liquor supplier.
Jack (Peter Bergman) will likely learn the truth that it was Dina who caused the fire. He might deduce the truth when he learns that Dina was at The Underground on the night the fire happened. Jack will feel compelled to protect Dina when he learns the shocking truth. He would try to protect Dina from suffering the mental anguish of guilt when she learns that she was responsible for the fire that had tragic consequences for some people.
Jack’s urge to protect Dina from the consequences of her actions will stem from feelings of guilt that he failed to protect her from Graham (Max Shippee). Dina has also not been herself since she suffered a stroke. Jack will therefore try to protect Dina by not telling her the truth that she was responsible for the fire.

However, Jack could find himself caught on the horns of a dilemma. It would be painful for him to watch Nick suffer for Dina’s action. Jack could find himself struggling with the decision to keep the secret that it was Dina who caused the fire.
It remains to be seen for how long Jack would be able to keep the truth a secret. However, Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the truth will be exposed in the long run and that Graham could play a role in exposing the truth.
Young and the Restless buzz and rumors indicate that when Graham stumbles upon the information he would try to use it to get revenge against Dina and the Abbot clan.
