Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly ready for their first child.
According to a new report, Stefani and Shelton, who have been dating for about two years, are allegedly ready to welcome a baby together and are reportedly growing stronger and stronger as their efforts continue.
“Blake and Gwen’s excitement over becoming parents has made their relationship rock solid,” an insider explained to Hollywood Life on October 30.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton publicly confirmed their romance in November 2015 as they attended a Country Music Awards after party in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time, the couple was starring alongside one another on The Voice Season 9, which began production around the time they both split from their former spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert.
Immediately after Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship began, the couple began facing allegations of an engagement and pregnancies but so far, none of those rumors have been true. Instead, Stefani and Shelton have been taking things slow as they continue to get to know one another and spend time with Stefani’s three children, 11-year-old Kingston, nine-year-old Zuma, and three-year-old Apollo.
The Hollywood Life source went on to reveal that even when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have an argument or disagreement, they ultimately shut down any potential feuds by discussing their future plans for a family. As the insider explained, Shelton has a great sense of humor and is always able to diffuse tension between himself and Stefani by making his girlfriend laugh.
“They love to play argue over baby names — Blake picks names like Billy Bob or Rusty, and she of course wants hip names like Stella and Emma,” the source said.
As for when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will reportedly welcome their first child, the Hollywood Life report said they’d love for their baby to arrive this time next year.
Gwen Stefani currently shares three children with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale and Blake Shelton doesn’t yet have any children of his own.
