Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton May Not Spend Thanksgiving Together

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton spent last year’s Thanksgiving holiday together in his hometown in Oklahoma, but this year, the couple may be forced to spend the holiday apart.

According to a new report, Gwen Stefani had a great time with Blake Shelton and his family in 2016 and would love to return to Oklahoma this year. However, after promising to return during last year’s festivities, Stefani has been faced with a potential problem: her career.

“She’s got so much work on her plate all month, it’s going to be very hard for Gwen to pull it all off,” a source close to the singer told Hollywood Life on October 27.

As the insider explained, it’s crunch time for Gwen Stefani when it comes to promoting her Christmas album and with all of the interviews lined up for the coming weeks, she may not be able to do everything she had previously planned. In fact, because of a meet and greet scheduled for Los Angeles on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, she may have to completely skip out on her plans to spend Thanksgiving with Blake Shelton and his family.

Although Gwen Stefani’s schedule seems to be making it impossible for an Oklahoma Thanksgiving, the Hollywood Life insider said that she continues to insist that she can tend to her career and her past plans for a traditional meal with Blake Shelton and his family.

As for how Blake Shelton feels, the country singer reportedly hopes Gwen Stefani will be able to travel to Oklahoma for a family celebration, but if it is not possible, he is totally okay with staying in Los Angeles with her and celebrating at her home.

“Gwen’s goal is to be superwoman and make it all happen. She doesn’t want to miss out,” the source added.
