‘The Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay’s Hot Hook-Ups Reportedly Being Censored By ABC Producers

We’re only a few episodes in and The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay has proven she isn’t afraid to get physical with her suitors. While kissing is nothing new to ABC’s hit reality show, some fans believe the network is censoring some of Lindsay’s more intense make-out sessions. Is ABC editing out some of her hot hook-ups?

OK! Magazine reports that Jack Stone may have kissed Lindsay off camera on Monday night’s installment. Fans noticed that Stone had Lindsay’s lipstick smeared on his mouth after the two shared some alone time. “The edit (including silly music) made [Jack] look overly eager and awkwardly close,” one fan noted. “When in reality [his] body language would’ve made complete sense with the kiss present.”

Producers have not commented on the speculation. An insider close to the situation, however, has confirmed that Lindsay kissed Stone and producers decided to cut it from the final edits. “Jack and Rachel have great chemistry,” the source explained. “The guys thought he was going to get the group date rose.”

Stone didn’t win the rose. Instead, Lindsay handed the group date award to Dean Unglert, who also shared an intense make-out session with the leading lady. Lindsay hasn’t said anything about the edits, though it’s clear that things will get even more heated with each passing week.

Meanwhile, The Daily Beast revealed that one of Lindsay’s suitors might be a racist. Lee Garrett is among Lindsay’s 30 suitors this season on The Bachelorette and is the only country singer of the bunch. While Garrett seems like a typical country boy, his previous activity on social media hints that he might be a bit racist.

Garrett is a supporter of Donald Trump and wrote a series of questionable tweets about race and religion as recently as 2016. “I wholeheartedly support inhumane torture of terrorists,” he shared. “I don’t hate Muslims, I do hate Islam… The Orlando terrorist was a devout Muslim and registered democrat.”

In July of last year, Garrett shared a link about a petition against the Black Lives Matter movement. “Thousands sign petition to recognize #BlackLivesMatter as terrorist group after Dallas,” he shared.

ABC has not responded to Garrett’s questionable social media past. Of course, none of these posts confirm indefinitely that Garrett is a racist. After all, he’s currently competing for the heart of the first black woman to star on The Bachelorette. If he is racist, then he’s certainly playing an interesting game being on the show.

While Lindsay does her best to avoid all of these controversies, the biggest question remaining is who will win over her heart by the season’s end. According to Bustle, the current frontrunner for Lindsay’s final rose is Peter. Peter was the first to land a one-on-one date with Lindsay and shares an obvious chemistry with the Dallas attorney. He is also one of the more mature contestants and knows exactly what he wants.

“I don’t want to shy away of any questions that my fiancé has for me about the journey or about myself in general. I’m an open book and I feel that as long as I continue to do that, he’s a strong enough person to be able to handle it,” Lindsay shared on her final pick. “The same goes for me. I’m throwing those questions out at him and it’s reflective of how we want our relationship to be moving forward and forever — just keeping it real and continuing to communicate with each other even when it’s hard.”

Fans can watch Lindsay work through her list of suitors when new episodes of The Bachelorette air Monday nights on ABC.
