Brad Pitt Ecstatic To Be Single, Happy With Angelina Jolie Divorce — Couple Remain On Good Terms

Brad Pitt is said to be enjoying his single life now that he has found himself being on better terms with Angelina Jolie, it’s been alleged.

The actor, who was devastated when his soon-to-be ex-wife decided to call it quits in September, over what appeared to have been due to Brad Pitt’s alcohol abuse, the 53-year-old had struggled to come to terms with the fact that the marriage had run its course.

Brad Pitt admitted in an interview with GQ earlier this year that he needed to find himself after his split from Angelina. It was critical for him to start seeing a therapist and get his life back on track — the drinking had gotten out of control and he doesn’t blame anyone but himself for the downfall of his marriage.

With that said, it’s a done deal and there’s no going back now. But it should be stressed that Brad Pitt feels better than ever because he has, indeed, cleaned up his act, he’s on much better terms with Jolie now that he’s sober and visitation rights to see his six children have been approved.

Brad Pitt is looking to receive joint custody of the kids, after having learned that Angie recently purchased a home in Los Feliz, California, which happens to be no more than two miles away from the estate Brad Pitt calls home.

Overall, things are looking great for the 53-year-old. Though he’s no longer with Angelina, and while reconciliation plans seem thin, he’ll continue to remain friends with the A-list star as they co-parent their children together.

“Being single isn’t a bad thing at all for Brad Pitt,” the insider tells Hollywood Life. “He’s really enjoying being single and the freedom that comes with that. He’s always had someone taking care of him and has been in back to back relationships. It feels amazing to just stand alone on his own.”

It should be mentioned that being single hasn’t thrown Brad Pitt off his sobriety. In fact, he’s not actively seeing anybody that he sees himself having a future with — right now, he’s main focus is continuing to have a strong bond with Angelina Jolie and their kids.

He knows that further down the line he’ll probably fall in love again and meet someone new, but right now, it’s all about finding himself and staying on the right path. When Brad Pitt gave up drinking, he certainly meant it — and not only does he feel better since doing so, he acknowledges looking better, too.

“Brad is a passionate, emotional guy who loves being in love so it will definitely happen. After a lot of work on himself, he’s finally open to it — down the road. For now, he still needs to put in more time working on himself and his new healthy life.”

Sources say that Angelina and Brad Pitt have been speaking much more lately. Since reconnecting with her father, Jon Voight, Jolie knew it was critical to mend things with her estranged husband, who, although strained the marriage with his drinking, still has a heart of gold when it comes to family and kids.

Brad Pitt hasn’t said about his relationship with Angelina other than what he has mentioned in his interview with GQ, but it’s clear from what has been gathered so far that the ex-couple will not remain on bad terms by any means.

Jolie and Pitt have moved on from one another but will continue on as friends while co-parenting their kids.
