These Are The Best ‘Covfefe’ Memes And Tweets That Have Made The Social Media Rounds So Far
Right after midnight and into the very early morning hours of Wednesday, President Donald Trump made a rather strange tweet that had something to do with the press. That is not out of the ordinary, and many have come to expect this behavior from one of the most powerful people in the world, but this one was different. This tweet was about “covfefe,” and no one has any idea what he was talking about, but the memes have taken over.
As reported by the New York Times, President Trump tweeted out late into Tuesday night and early into Wednesday morning. It was a very short and simple tweet that didn’t say a whole lot, but in turn, it actually said everything.
The tweet has since been deleted, but the words are forever burned into the memories of the internet.
“Despite the constant negative press covfefe”
That tweet was thrown out there at 12:06 a.m. ET, and no one had any earthly idea what “covfefe” had to do with anything. As a matter of fact, no one even knows what “covfefe” is, but Trump left the tweet up until 5:50 a.m. ET when it was deleted. About 20 minutes later, he tweeted again.
Who can figure out the true meaning of “covfefe”??? Enjoy!

At this point, he likely realized that his typo (or whatever it is) was ridiculed overnight when late-night talk show hosts and the internet got a hold of it. One would think he would delete it and just let it go, but he played into it once it was time to rise and shine as the president of the United States.
Now, the world has taken control of “covfefe,” and there have been some masterful memes and tweets made about it. Here are some of the best ones that have come about in less than 12 hours since the word was created.

Reuters still doesn’t know what the word means even though Democratic U.S. Senator Al Franken believes that “covfefe is a Yiddish term for ‘I got to go to bed now.'” He simply feels it is nothing more than a late-night thing or tweeting while tired.
No matter what it actually is, the world is having fun with it,and at this point, it is rather harmless but hilarious.
President Donald Trump has not given up on his Twitter use since becoming the leader of the free world, but he should really be a little bit more cautious as to what he tweets. The “covfefe” thing may have been a complete and total accident or even just a typo, but it started yet another round of memes and jokes about America and its president. The hype over the weird word will die down soon, but there will likely be something to take its place shortly after.
