Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Getting Engaged? Couple Looking For Home In Wake Of Pippa Middleton Wedding

Rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to get engaged continue to rise at a fevered pitch, even more so in the wake of Pippa Middleton’s wedding. As such, a new report claims that the pair is now looking for a home in Norfolk, preferably near Prince William and Kate Middleton’s residence in Anmer Hall.

A source for Star Daily says that Harry is already considering a few properties he and Meghan (and presumably future babies) could settle in once they’ve gotten married.

“Harry has family on his mind more than ever,” the insider said.

“Until now he’s been busy with the Invictus Games, his appointments and his other charity work so his cottage in Kensington Palace has been more than enough for him,” the source continued. “But with an engagement looming and potentially the patter of tiny feet, Harry is house-hunting big time.”

The prince’s royal advisers also suggest that he pick one that has enough space for him to indulge his love for polo.

“None of the properties are too big or ostentatious – that’s not his style. But agents have been briefed there needs to be enough land for a polo field. That’s always been his dream.

“He wants a relaxed country pad he can retreat to at weekends to join his wife and kids, entertain his mates and live a normal life.”

The source claims that Prince Harry’s top pick is the 17th Century Twyford Hall near Dereham because of its laid back atmosphere and shabby chic aesthetic. The property reportedly has eight bedrooms, six reception rooms, and a self-contained lodge for weekend guests. It has 70 acres of parkland, which should be more than enough to accommodate Harry’s polo games.

Prince Harry prefers the property partly because it has an unfinished look about it.

“Harry loves the fact Twyford Hall needs a little work sohe can really put his stamp on the property and make it his home.

“And he loves all the natural woodland and grounds, a world away from busy Kensington Palace and London.”

The source says that Meghan Markle prefers the Guist Hall, an upscale Georgian manor house with lush gardens.

The property, however, is just 10 acres large, which isn’t big enough to accommodate Harry’s favorite hobby.

On the positive side, the Guist Hall is just a short drive away to Burnham Market, which is one of the couple’s favorite dining places.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle engaged by the end of summer?

Us Magazine reports that Harry and Meghan “will be engaged by the end of summer” and that “they see a life together.”

Rumors that the couple is on the brink of getting engaged started around the time Pippa Middleton imposed a “no ring, no bring” rule in her wedding. Initial reports had claimed that Meghan was invited to attend the church ceremony, leading to the general assumption that the engagement is going to happen soon. In the end, it turned out that Meghan was only invited to the wedding reception. Speculations about a future Prince Harry and Meghan Markle engagement didn’t simmer down, however.

While Markle didn’t attend Middleton and Matthews’ wedding at the St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, Prince Harry was spotted picking up his girlfriend for the reception later in the day.

Meghan and Prince Harry first met in Toronto while he was promoting Invictus Games back in May. They got along well as friends but quickly “developed romantic interests in each other.” By the end of May, Ms. Markle began following Harry’s private Instagram account.

While the couple’s romance has become fodder for gossip sites, the two have managed to keep their relationship low-key. In July, Harry and Meghan hit the Soho House in London with a group of friends. Before long, they reportedly went out on dates as a couple. In December, the two were spotted shopping for a Christmas tree at the Pines and Needles outdoor market. The following week, the two were photographed together as they exited the Gielgud Theater after watching a production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
