Jaden Smith Claims That Four Seasons Toronto ‘Spiked’ His Pancakes With Cheese Then Kicked Him Out
Jaden Smith, son of Hollywood superstars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, apparently has some grievances with the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. And the 18-year-old star wasn’t shy about taking to Twitter to air them for his fans and the rest of the world to see. Oddly enough, his primary complaint had to do with cheesy pancakes that he claims were “spiked” and made him “want to throw up.”
According to Jaden, he’s low-key surprised to still be alive after the horrific incident.
Everything apparently went down early on Saturday morning. That’s when Jaden Smith turned to his trusty Twitter account to complain about his Four Seasons experience. As People reports, the teen is currently hanging out in Toronto for the filming of his upcoming flick, Life In A Year. The movie is about young love, terminal cancer and smashing a lifetime worth of living into one short year following a terminal diagnosis. Jaden Smith plays a young lover supporting his dying girlfriend, portrayed by Cara Delevingne.
Critics are expecting the 2018 film, backed by none other than Jaden’s daddy Will Smith, to be a real tearjerker, a veritable emotional roller coaster. Now, some Jaden Smith fans are wondering if the stark emotions evoked by the filming may have contributed to his somewhat melodramatic Twitter meltdown.

Or, it’s possible that Jaden Smith could be suffering some lingering sadness over the fact that Netflix just cancelled The Get Down. As FACTMag reports, the series was super expensive, had relatively low ratings, and ran for just one season. Baz Luhrmann, the mind behind the series, took to Facebook to claim that the reason the show (starring Jaden Smith, among others) was cancelled was due to his own scheduling conflicts.
“But the simple truth is, I make movies. And the thing with movies is, that when you direct them, there can be nothing else in your life. Since The Get Down stopped, I have actually been spending the last few months preparing my new cinematic work…”
However, the buzz is that the series featuring young Jaden Smith was continually over-budget, a ratings let-down, and a production nightmare.
Either way, it’s possible that Jaden’s emotional cup was simply overflowing when he launched into his long-winded social media tirade against the Four Seasons on Saturday morning.

Whatever went down between Jaden Smith and the staff of the posh hotel, he publicly hoped on Twitter that it would be enough to get him blacklisted.

While Jaden didn’t go into excessive detail about the debacle, other than to claim that some unwanted dairy had been smuggled into his unsuspecting pancakes, something apparently happened. In his last tweet about the Four Seasons, Jaden Smith claimed that the high-end luxury hotel had booted him from his room.

As ET reports, it’s unknown if Jaden has some kind of cheese or dairy allergy or just an aversion, but rumors swirled in 2016 that the young entertainer, designer, and social/environmental activist had declared himself vegan.
It’s also unclear what may have led staff at the Toronto Four Seasons Hotel to put unwanted cheese in Jaden Smith’s pancakes in the first place, or if the undesired dairy actually made it into the batter at all. That’s because neither Jaden’s people nor representatives for the Four Seasons are responding to requests for comment about the bizarre situation and very public social media call-out.

Even so, it appears unlikely that Jaden Smith (who claimed to have been unceremoniously evicted from his room) will be returning to the celebrity hot spot anytime soon. It’s also unclear where Jaden will be hanging his hat for the duration of the filming of A Life In A Day if not the Four Seasons Toronto.
Since it’s only been a couple of hours since the famously dramatic young Hollywood star first blasted the hotel chain on Twitter, it’s possible that the drama will be corrected with no hard feelings.
Maybe Jaden Smith’s famous father Will can involve himself in the mix and sort things out with the Four Seasons, and possibly even ensure that no wayward cheese is ever again used to “spike” Jaden’s breakfast.
