Matt Baier Faces Cheating Scandal, Says Amber Portwood Is ‘Extraordinarily Flattered’ By Sex Tape Offer
Amber Portwood’s fiance, Matt Baier, is caught up in a cheating scandal.
Amid rumors regarding their possible sex tape, a woman named Tiffany Basset spoke out, claiming she and Matt Baier allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship during the time he was engaged to marry the Teen Mom OG star.
On May 24, Basset, a tattoo artist, spoke to All About the Tea about her time with Matt Baier and said the drama-plagued reality star initially contacted her about investing in a new show. He also reportedly claimed that he wanted to tell Basset’s story in some way.
“I was excited to possibly land a celebrity client, as well as a new business venture,” she said, via In Touch Weekly.
According to Tiffany Basset, she and Matt Baier’s professional relationship began in November of 2016, and reportedly turned romantic shortly thereafter.
“Matt began sending me provocative text messages, including a d**k pic. I went along with it, hoping that it would eventually pay off for my business. My motive was always business and providing for my three children,” she told the outlet.
Following their initial meeting, Tiffany Basset reportedly met up with Matt Baier and his fiancee, Amber Portwood, in Las Vegas, and allegedly hooked up with the reality star twice. However, according to Basset, she wasn’t as willing the second time around.
“Two o’clock in the morning, Matt comes into my room, supposedly to pick up some souvenirs left on the table,” she recalled. “He just wakes me up and decides that we’re going to have sex. No warning — no nothing. I’m like shaking, I froze — I didn’t do anything to stop it.”
According to an alleged text message exchange between Matt Baier and Tiffany Basset, Amber Portwood’s fiance told Basset his loved her on Christmas. Basset also filmed the Being Matt special with Baier and Portwood, and during production, she reportedly told producer Kiki Malone that she was “taken advantage of” by Baier. A short time later, their business partnership came to an end.
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have faced tons of drama in their relationship in recent weeks, and earlier this month, a Radar Online report claimed the couple had called off their engagement. Weeks later, the pair confirmed they had met with Vivid Entertainment, who distributed Farrah Abraham’s sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, in 2013.
“We were shocked at how business-like and professional and low pressure it was. Both of us were extraordinarily flattered to get such a generous offer from Vivid. We never envisioned ourselves as being adult film stars, especially me in any way shape or form,” Matt Baier explained to Us Weekly on May 25. “We’re glad that we [took the meeting]. It was a very good meeting that we really, really enjoyed.”
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier met with the company in Los Angeles earlier this month after traveling to town to attend the MTV Movie And TV Awards.
According to Us Weekly, Amber Portwood and her boyfriend have been offered $85,000 for their potential sex tape and 35 percent of the net revenues.
While neither party has confirmed whether or not they will be taking Vivid Entertainment up on their offer, Baire said that both he and Amber Portwood have gained a new respect for the adult film industry after meeting with Steve Hirsch.
