‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Star Bethenny Frankel Is A ‘Moron’ And A ‘Liar,’ Mother Says
Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel’s mother recently slammed the Skinnygirl mogul, calling her a “moron and a liar.”
Bethenny Frankel has admitted to not having a great relationship with her mother. The two have apparently been feuding on and off for the past 16 years, although, in July 2016, it seemed like the two had made amends and called a “truce.”
Bethenny’s mom lashes out after she is cast on Shark Tank.
Bernadette Birk, Frankel’s mother, told Life & Style Weekly on May 24 that her daughter, who made $100 million from her Skinnygirl empire, was a “moron.”
Bethenny Frankel was seen on Wednesday on the Hollywood set of Extra with a big smile on her face. Either she hadn’t heard the news of what her mother said or she did not care.
Frankel’s mother also said that her daughter was “lucky” to have landed a guest role on Season 9 of Shark Tank.
“She’s a moron.”

“She got very lucky, and she just knows how to surround herself with people who are intelligent.”
Skinnygirl has a line of alcohol, wine, candy, and food. The reality star has also written several books.
Bethenny started her company while she was starring on Bravo’s hit reality series The Real Housewives of New York City, and she is now a successful multimillionaire.
Birk did not stop at calling her daughter a moron. She continued to slam her, saying that she was a “liar and a shark.”

The mogul and single mother-of-one is also launching a new series with Million Dollar Listing New York star Frederik Eklund called Keeping It Real Estate, according to Bravo.
A long history of family issues.
The mother-daughter relationship between Bernadette and Bethenny got heated back in 2011 when Frankel said she never felt “safe” during her childhood and portrayed her mother as a woman who neglected her daughter and drank excessively.
Frankel is the daughter of Bernadette and Robert Frankel, who was a horse trainer. When Bethenny was 4, her father left her mother. It was during this time that she said her mother was “always drinking” and argued “violently” with her stepfather.

The two seemed to make up in July of 2016. Bethenny said on her Sirius XM radio show, B Real with Bethenny, that she and her mother had called a truce because her daughter, Bryn, had asked about her parents.
“My daughter said, ‘Mommy, are your parents alive?’ I said, ‘My daddy’s not alive and my mommy is alive.’ She said, ‘I want to meet your mommy.'”

Bethenny recently sat down with Forbes to discuss her upcoming role on Shark Tank and how she got her start to becoming the major influencer and mogul she has become today.
The Real Housewives star said that business is “intense, incredibly competitive, and hard” but urged young women who were just starting out in their careers to stay “driven” and maintain “determination.”
“I can’t name three people that have the same drive and determination that I have.”
