Gwen Stefani Engagement: Holla Back Girl Desperate For Proposal
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been one of the most adored couples of the music industry since fall of 2015 and continue to gush endlessly about one another with every opportunity that is afforded to them.
The musical icons first bonded on the hit TV show The Voice when both Gwen and Blake co-judged and soon found support from each other. At the time Stefani and Shelton were each finding their ways through difficult divorces from respected exes and found the love and understanding they needed in one another.

A year-and-a-half later and the couple is steadily making headlines for being nearing-engagement. However, such claims are also riddled with rumors of relationship troubles and things possibly coming to an end between the star couple. The latest claims being made involve those stating that Gwen is so intent on marrying Blake that she is insisting on a proposal ASAP.
Celebrity Insider shares words of a supposed source who claims that Stefani is ready to plan her wedding to Shelton as soon as possible.
“Gwen wants to work on music and be a mom during her break from The Voice. But one of her main goals is to prepare a wedding. She wants to be engaged soon to Blake. And wants to take some of her free time to focus on the wedding. She just needs Blake to pull the trigger and ask for her hand in marriage so she can start planning her dream wedding to him.”
The site goes on to claim that although Gwen left everything to wedding planners in 2002 when she married rocker Gavin Rossdale, this time around, she wants a more hands-on role with the preparations.
How accurate are these claims about Stefani’s desperation to wed? It seems to be this story comes at a time that entirely conflicting reports are being made regarding the couple’s stability. In Touch has suggested recently that the two are actually taking a cool-off time for the moment.
“Blake and Gwen are no longer in the honeymoon phase of their relationship, but they still love each other very much and are very happy with each other,” a source told Hollywood Life at the time. “And an engagement or wedding will not change that, so they aren’t rushing into any of that. So a real honeymoon isn’t on the horizon anytime soon. They are happy with their current status of being boyfriend and girlfriend.”
Additional rumors have swirled that Shelton has flat out dumped Stefani for not wanting to move forward, but these claims have been stamped out as false by Gossip Cop.
As it stands the two seem content in their relationship and whether they are secretly ready to wed or not, all will be revealed in due time. The beauty clearly endured a difficult split from Gavin Rossdale in 2015 who was said to have been caught cheating with the former couple’s nanny. Rossdale remained quite silent following the split and during the divorce, but has recently spoken out and commented on the situation between he and Stefani as being amicable for the sake of their three children.

The former Bush front man, though stating he never wanted divorce to result, has also reportedly moved on and found love again. Life & Style relays that judge for The Voice, UK has begun a relationship with Sophia Thomalla.
“Gwen Stefani moved on quickly following her split from Gavin Rossdale, but it looks like the rocker has a new girlfriend in his life. Gavin, 51, is reportedly dating German model Sophia Thomalla, 27, after the couple was spotted enjoying dinner at Indianapolis’ Iozzo’s Garden of Italy on May 11.”
