Charlie Sheen Goes Retro In 1970s Era Flick About A Wild Playboy

Charlie Sheen goes totally retro in his new movie, A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. Although the film is billed as a completely fictional story, some consider the Roman Coppola movie is a bit of life imitating art for the former Two and a Half Men star.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the 1970s era movie is the first directorial endeavor for Coppola in more than a decade. Sheen’s character in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III focuses on a playboy who gets dumped by his girlfriend after some naked photos with his ex-significant other surface.

In the Roman Coppola film, Sheen’s character goes on wild and wacky trip through nightmares and dreams, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Charles Swan III persona ingests more than a few drugs before delving into his demons. The character also reportedly showcases his more sensitive side during the film.

Charlie Sheen may be most well-known for his “tiger blood” rant and partying ways, but his recent kindness and generosity to his friends illustrates the actor’s soft-hearted side as well. The Anger Management star reportedly gave Lindsay Lohan a significant sum of money to help her with her tax woes. He also offered his former Two and a Half Men co-star Angus T. Jones a job on his new FX show after the young star called his CBS sitcom “filth” in a Forerunner Christian Church video.

Sheen is joined in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swann III by Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman. The movie opens on February 8, according to Cinema Blend.
