Angelina Jolie Reportedly Experiences Weight Gain As Brad Pitt Divorce Continues

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt both faced claims of a drastic weight loss after their September 2016 split. Now, however, a report claims Jolie has actually put on weight in recent weeks.

According to Radar Online, 41-year-old Angelina Jolie has “bounced back from the brink of death” after undergoing an unconventional procedure involving sheep placenta. As the outlet explained, Angelina Jolie was previously skeletal and sickly, but after multiple visits to a clinic in Sweden, she’s reportedly much healthier.

“It’s incredible!” an insider told the outlet on May 16. “Not only does [Angelina Jolie] look 10 years younger, she’s gained 35 pounds!”

Angelina Jolie has long been known for being on the thinner side, but as her divorce from Brad Pitt continues, she’s seemingly turned over a new leaf when it comes to her health. In fact, while many suspected the actress had previously been relying on cosmetic surgery to upgrade her look, sources now claim her new glow is the result of the ongoing procedures she’s reportedly been receiving in Sweden.

“She’s been getting experimental live cell treatments that have totally boosted her immune system,” a friend of the actress revealed. “It’s also helped her gain weight and balance her hormone levels, improved her skin pallor and boosted her collagen, which is why she looks younger.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt parted ways in September of 2016 after over a decade together and six kids, 15-year-old Maddox, 13-year-old Pax, 12-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

According to Radar Online, the “placenta therapy” that Angelina Jolie is reportedly receiving involves a bioactive cell from a sheep’s placenta being administered in either pill, cream, or injectable form.

Radar Online went on to reveal that Angelina Jolie had allegedly dropped to a mere 76 pounds after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt and requesting full physical custody of their children.

“[Angelina Jolie] was catching every cold and flu, and her digestive system was barely functioning, so she wanted to look into what was going on in her gut,” confided the friend. “All her friends in London were saying Sweden was the place to go for an innovative solution.”

The outlet went on to reveal that Angelina Jolie had reportedly been inspired by actor Michael J. Fox, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, to travel to Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. At the facility, cell therapy is used to research cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and other ailments.

“[Angelina Jolie] and Mike aren’t close friends, but she knows he donates to the Karolinska medical university and was given a doctorate by the institute,” said the friend.

Angelina Jolie hasn’t publicly confirmed the treatment but according to Radar Online, she visited Sweden in February after a visit to Cambodia to promote her new film, First They Killed My Father. Then, one month later, she reportedly went back to Sweden after giving a speech in Geneva.

In addition to her alleged live cell treatments, Angelina Jolie is believed to have also undergone treatments for her digestive system after learning the lining of her intestine had become porous. As the outlet explained, Angelina Jolie wasn’t properly processing her food due to the condition.

“If untreated [Angelina Jolie] could have had issues with diabetes or celiac disease down the line,” said the pal. “She’s had a total diet overhaul with the help of her Swedish doctors and she’s been taking medication for gastroparesis [paralysis of the stomach muscles], which is what they think was causing the nausea she suffered.”

In other Angelina Jolie news, the actress recently purchased a home in Los Feliz near her estranged husband, Brad Pitt.
