Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have managed to maintain a low-profile relationship that they sometimes keep people guessing if they are still together or not. Just recently, the 36-year-old actor was spotted holding their 2-year-old daughter Esmeralda as he walked towards a restaurant with his family. However, the 43-year-old actress was nowhere to be seen. Does that mean that the hunky dad has dumped his girlfriend?

Radar Online shared photos of Gosling and his little girl and they appeared to be celebrating Mother’s Day early because his mom Donna joined them for lunch on Friday. The La La Land star and his partner rarely go out in public together. They have also avoided getting media attention even during Mendes’ pregnancy and birth to their two daughters Esmeralda Amada, 2, and Amada Lee, 1.

Ryan and Eva have kept their children away from the media, but the screen heartthrob surprisingly stepped out with Esmeralda not only once in a week but twice. The Notebook star was spotted running errands with their little girl in Los Angeles last Thursday. Radar Online shared adorable photos of the father and daughter. The recent sightings of Gosling taking care of their child alone have sparked breakup rumors.

This isn’t the first time that Gosling and Mendes have started speculations that they have called it quits. The actor attended the Golden Globes and the Oscars early this year without his partner. Despite her absence, he paid tribute to his girlfriend during his acceptance speech. However, there were stories that the couple had been facing problems in their relationship because of jealousy.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Eva Mendes allegedly got jealous of Emma Stone because of her closeness to Ryan Gosling. The A-listers reportedly got into a fight after the Latina beauty refused to accompany his boyfriend at the Academy Awards. She was reportedly fed up with how close the La La Land co-stars are.

“Ryan desperately wanted Eva by his side. He told her how bad it looked when she wasn’t there when he won his Golden Globe in January and that he was tired of making excuses for her,” an insider revealed.

“Ryan said that if she wasn’t going to support him on the biggest night of his career, then would she ever? Eva snapped back that he shouldn’t be worried because Emma would be there for him,” their source added.

Gosling and Mendes rarely talk about their relationship or dismiss the speculations, but the fashion designer subtly slammed the breakup rumors during an interview with Shape. While the mother of two shared some beauty and fitness tips, she also admitted how happy she was in her current situation.

“What people don’t know about me is that I love being home,” Eva said. “Instead of hitting the red carpet, I’d rather be with our girls.”

The Hollywood couple is very hands on with their children. According to People, Gosling and Mendes still live at the actor’s former bachelor pad and they also don’t have a nanny. They reportedly get help from the actress’s family when needed. Maybe that’s why Ryan had to bring along Esmeralda during his lunch date with his mom and when he went out to do some errands. Eva’s absence doesn’t mean that they broke up.

“Their focus is on giving their girls a normal upbringing,” a source said.

“Ryan and Eva are incredibly private, but at home, they’re just like any normal family,” their source added. “They don’t like the L.A. lifestyle and love to get out of town where they have more freedom to be out and about without all the attention.”

Unlike most celebrities who have several nannies, the couple isn’t keen on getting one because they reportedly wanted to spend as much time as they can with their two daughters. According to an insider, Ryan Gosling is an incredible dad and he is head over heels in love with his girls.
