Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Prep For Christmas In Oklahoma, Is He Going To Pop The Question?
Gwen Stefani is prepping for Christmas in Oklahoma. The “No Doubt” alum just shared a few Snapchat videos about her holiday plans with Blake Shelton, which includes celebrating at his sprawling ranch. Will he pop the big question in Oklahoma?
According to ET Online, Stefani posted a few videos of her and Shelton preparing for the coming festivities. The “Make Me Like You” singer shared a clip of her making gnocchi with Shelton. Although their attempts to make the homemade dish didn’t turn out as expected, the video is absolutely adorable.
Perez Hilton reports that Stefani and Shelton also took a tour of the ranch. Stefani shared a video of some wild turkeys they encountered and a few shots of her and Shelton looking at Christmas lights around town. At the end of the clip, Stefani showed off a cartoon version of herself and Shelton posing beside a snowman, courtesy of the Bitmoji app.
Stefani also swapped out her usual Twitter pic with a shot of Shelton wrapped in colorful Christmas lights. A year ago, the couple spent Christmas with Shelton’s family in Oklahoma and were later spotted at an NFL game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
With their romance stronger than ever, it’s only a matter of time before Shelton asks Stefani to marry him. The couple hasn’t made an announcement yet, but In Touch Weekly is reporting that Shelton was spotted shopping for a ring. Is he getting ready to pop the big question?
“Blake is just as generous when it comes to Gwen,” an insider explained, referencing how Shelton enjoys buying gifts for Stefani’s boys. “He really loves to spoil her. He won’t say if he’s going to propose or not, but he’s definitely been shopping for diamond jewelry.”
There’s no telling when Blake Shelton will propose, though it sounds like it could happen before the year is out. After all, this would be an ideal time to ask with Stefani spending her holidays at Shelton’s beloved Oklahoma ranch.
Sadly, both Stefani and Shelton have avoided talks about their wedding plans or future together. Stefani was asked about a wedding during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show. Although DeGeneres pressed Stefani for answers, she shrugged them off with laughter.
The news of Shelton’s ring shopping also follows the couple’s duet at the White House state dinner. The couple sang their hit song “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” during the prestigious event.
Until an official announcement is made, fans will have to settle with watching their romance unfold on social media. Christmas isn’t the only holiday Shelton and Stefani spent together. The pair enjoyed Thanksgiving with Stefani’s family and shared just how grateful they are for each other on Instagram.
“We love u sooooo grateful!!!!” Stefani wrote in a post.
Just prior to Thanksgiving, the pair showed up in style at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. After receiving her award, Stefani couldn’t help but gush about having Shelton in her life. “It’s incredible to have a best friend like that guy. He’s an amazing person,” she explained, later telling Shelton, “Thank you for kissing me back to life.”
If Shelton does propose over the holidays, it shouldn’t take long before the couple lets everyone know about it. Even more, Stefani is preparing to join Shelton on the upcoming season of The Voice, which means a potential engagement could become a part of the show. Whatever happens, it’s good to see that Shelton and Stefani are enjoying the holidays together and that their romance is heading in the right direction.
