Donald Trump Taps Kellyanne Conway As First Female Counselor To President

In a historic move, President-elect Donald Trump tapped Kellyanne Conway as the United States of America’s first female Counselor to the President. Kellyanne Conway has broken two United States records and is literally shattering glass ceilings in 2016, as she has already become the first woman in the United States to successfully manage a presidential campaign.

Kellyanne Conway strategically battled onward despite the odds, the investors, the establishment, the main stream media, and every poll available to run the first successful non-establishment presidential campaign in years. She had leagues of troubles along the way, usually as a result of Trump’s statements on Twitter, and she helped change public perception away from the control of mainstream media outlets that led to his victory.

She has been a leading surrogate for Trump during his presidential campaign and has been serving as a senior member of the Trump transition team. This new role she has will be the highest honor, as she will “continue her role as a close advisor to the president and will work with senior leadership to effectively message and execute the Administration’s legislative priorities and actions,” Trump explained.

Trump went on to state that “Kellyanne Conway has been a trusted advisor and strategist who played a crucial role in my victory. She is a tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda and has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message. I am pleased that she will be part of my senior team in the West Wing.”

She will also be moving herself and her family to the West Wing of the White House in Washington, D.C. According to Trump, she “has been a trusted adviser and strategist who played a crucial role in my victory. She is a tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda and has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message.”

Trump prepared for another group of transition meetings and he issued a public statement heavily critical of the new proposed United Nations Security Council resolution that aims to stop Israeli settlements from engaging in land disputes with Palestinians. Trump said, “As the United States has long maintained, peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians will only come through direct negotiations between the parties, and not through the imposition of terms by the United Nations,” Trump said. “This (proposal) puts Israel in a very poor negotiating position and is extremely unfair to all Israelis.”

Kellyanne Conway thanked President-elect Donald Trump for the “amazing opportunity” to be the presidential counselor, and she said “a Trump presidency will bring real change to Washington and to Americans across this great nation. I am humbled and honored to play a role in helping transform the movement he has led into a real agenda of action and results.”

The Trump transition team said publicly that Trump’s victory last month “shattered the glass ceiling for women. Conway is the first female campaign manager of either major party to win a presidential general election.”

This move makes Kellyanne Conway the highest-ranking woman in Trump’s White House, and she really has shattered the metaphorical glass ceiling for women everywhere.

Kellyanne Conway also told Maria Bartiromo Thursday from Fox Business Network “I would say that I don’t play golf and I don’t have a mistress. So I have a lot of time that a lot of these other men don’t.” She finished off by saying “I see people on the weekend spending an awful lot of time on their golf games and that’s their right. But the kids will be with me. We live in the same house and they come first.”
