Brandi Redmond is best known as the troublemaker on The Real Housewives of Dallas , as she and her best friend Stephanie Hollman stuck together and had a blast while filming the show last year. The two of them have been busy filming a brand new season of the series, and it sounds like they are excited about coming back to the small screen.
For a while, rumors were surfacing about Brandi and Stephanie not getting along, but they have been posting pictures online to prove that they are indeed close friends these days. And it sounds like Stephanie will be a shoulder to cry on for Brandi, as she recently revealed some devastating news.
According to a new Bravo report, Brandi Redmond is now revealing that she has suffered a devastating loss. Her brother-in-law, Jeff Donnelly, passed away earlier this month at the young age of 33. After taking some time to deal with her feelings, Redmond shared the news on social media and revealed that her brother-in-law had passed away from complications resulting from a congenital heart defect.
“Our close family is grieving the loss of our brother in law Jeff. A loving funny sweet soul that Is always smiling,” Brandi Redmond explained on Instagram, according to Bravo, sharing that he passed away from complications related to the heart. “He leaves behind my sister in law Lee who recently announced they are expecting over Thanksgiving. She is strong in her faith yet left with heartache and disbelief.”

Apparently, Jeff had been suffering from this heart condition since birth, and they knew he was struggling with it. But sadly, this heart defected resulted in him not being able to get insurance and not being able to get the proper care when he needed it. Brandi Redmond admits that he had lived his life and pursued his passion before he passed away.
“Jeff was born with a heart condition which disabled him from life insurance and Lee pursues her passion of teaching young children,” Brandi Redmond continued in her Instagram post, according to Bravo. “With this I ask that we gather together to help Lee with [Jeff’s] medical cost, bills, and Baby Donnelly. Love, financial support and prayers are greatly welcomed and we pray that God Bless you ten fold.”
At this time, Redmond is asking that people respect his widow’s privacy and allow her to grieve this sudden loss. As mentioned earlier, the two of them had just announced that they were expecting a baby on Thanksgiving, and she will now pursue parenthood as a single mother. To help out, Redmond set up a YouCaring page, where her fans can help her raise funds to support this newly single mother cover funeral and medical expenses.

One can imagine that her Real Housewives of Dallas co-stars are there for her to support her and help her through this troublesome time. There are rumors that this season of the show is very calm and with little drama, so it would make sense for them to be there for her. And it sounds like fans are reaching out to this Real Housewives of Dallas star with money and support for her family member. Brandi announced that she was thankful for the support this weekend on Twitter.
