‘Days Of Our Lives’: Gabi Dumps JJ Over Secret — Lani Might Complicate Things For JJ Devereaux [Spoilers]
Days Of Our Lives fans are going to see yet another familiar face roll into Salem. Sal Stower is returning to reprise her role as Lani, Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) daughter and JJ Devereaux’s (Casey Moss) former Salem PD partner. However, Lani won’t be happy to see everyone in town. Also, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will dump JJ over his secret, but she has the wrong idea. Will the truth finally be revealed?

As fans saw last week on Days Of Our Lives, Gabi went to give JJ a surprise. However, she overheard him and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) talking about a secret. JJ said that his girlfriend could not know about “her.” Gabi assumed JJ had another affair. However, the woman JJ was talking about was his sister, Abigail Devereaux (Marci Miller).
Ever since Abigail returned to Salem, she has been hiding in Jennifer’s attic. After a lot of coaxing and reassuring from Jennifer, JJ, and Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Abby has finally decided to let Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) know she’s alive. However, keeping such a huge secret and making excuses is putting a strain on both Jennifer and JJ. The recovering addict was accused by Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) of using drugs again. As for JJ, he keeps having to make excuses to Gabi, who knows that something is going on. Unfortunately for “Chabby” fans, Gabi has been turning to Chad for comfort.
Thinking the secret involves another woman, Gabi dumps JJ on Days Of Our Lives. Fans really can’t blame her because she has no idea what is going on. Even her brother, Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) hasn’t revealed Abigail’s secret. However, spoilers reveal that Chad and Abigail will finally reunite. It just won’t go the way fans expect. Abby will try running away again after seeing Chad and Gabi kiss. She will sneak into Chad’s mansion to say goodbye to her son, Thomas, and that is when Chad sees his deceased wife. The two will talk and Abigail will have to explain her reason for leaving. However, it is teased that Chad will have the reaction that Abby fears the most.
Abigail’s secret won’t just affect JJ and Gabi on Days Of Our Lives. Lani’s return will come with information about JJ. As previously speculated by the Inquisitr, is it possible that JJ and Lani slept together in Miami? It was teased by the actors that the love triangle could involve more than three people. Recalling JJ’s flashback of that fateful night in Miami, the woman’s face was not revealed. However, she did have long, brown hair like Lani. From what was visible of her body, her physique was also quite similar. Camila Banus teased to Soaps.com in a video interview that there would be major drama when Gabi found out who JJ slept with on Days Of Our Lives.
It seems that the longer Abigail stays hidden, the more people are hurt. Relationships are destroyed. Remember, JJ went to Miami and got drunk because of his grief over losing Abby. If she did not “die,” then that would never have happened. Just when JJ and Gabi reconcile, Abby’s secret is going to tear them apart again. Even though “Chabby” is going to be reunited this week on Days Of Our Lives, will he also agree to keep her secret? Or will the truth finally come out?
