Khloe Kardashian ‘Proud’ Lamar Odom Checked Into Rehab: ‘KUWTK’ Couple Getting Back Together [Rumor]

Khloe Kardashian is very proud of the fact that Lamar Odom has checked himself into rehab by his own free will, it has been reported.

Kardashian tried for months on end to get the former athlete professional help at a rehab facility earlier this year, after a handful of reports had alleged that Odom had relapsed and was heading for another breakdown.

Khloe Kardashian allegedly hearing this from some of Lamar’s friends at the time went on to trigger her decision to cut all ties with Odom. She felt betrayed by the fact that she had invested so much time to help her then-husband after he was rushed to the hospital for an apparent overdose.

Khloe had made every effort possible to prevent Lamar from relapsing again, but according to Hollywood Life, the former Lakers players stressed that he was fine and eventually began to seclude himself from Khloe and the Kardashian family, who had only been trying to nurture him in the process of his recovery.

Months later, however, it seems as if Lamar has finally accepted that he needs professional help from experts that can actually treat his condition, and Kardashian is being supportive.

While Lamar claims he’s in rehab to overcome his negative thoughts and grief with the death of his son, Jayden, who died at birth back in 2005, sources believe that Odom is also seeking treatment to clear his mind from ever turning back to substance abuse, with the intentions of getting his life back on track.

Whatever the case may be regarding Lamar’s actual reasoning for entering rehab, Khloe Kardashian is just happy to know that her ex-husband is in an environment where people can actually get to the bottom of Odom’s situation and gradually help him get to a better place.

“Khloe [Kardashian] is relieved that Lamar [Odom] has finally decided to get serious about his health,” the source shared.

“He told her about his plans, and at first she didn’t believe him. She said actions speak louder than words. This is something she has been praying for a long time, and she fully supports him and wants only the best for him. The entire Kardashian family is proud of Lamar.”

As the insider already mentions, Khloe and her family are extremely happy for Odom, who is currently taking part in a 30-day program — one that is bound to help him make significant changes in his life.

It should be noted that Khloe Kardashian didn’t believe it when she first heard about Lamar’s decision to enter rehab, for the simple fact that he has supposedly said it time and time again in the past but never actually made the move to go.

This evidently ended up frustrating Khloe Kardashian so much that she needed to distance herself from Odom, Perez Hilton revealed in June, having shown clear signs that he was unsure of whether he even wanted to change his life for the better — a thought with worried Khloe the most.

With Lamar being back in rehab, it’s still unclear whether Khloe Kardashian will make the effort to rebuild a relationship with the former NBA player, especially now that she’s seeing Cleveland Cavaliers’ Tristan Thompson.

The twosome have been dating for months, with reports going as far as to claim that Khloe Kardashian has already considered the idea of starting a family with her beau, knowing that it’s going to get tougher for her to conceive naturally the older she gets.

Do you think Khloe Kardashian should reach out to Lamar again now that he’s in rehab?
