Miley Cyrus Enjoys Date Night With Liam Hemsworth After Being Replaced By Gwen Stefani On ‘The Voice’

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were recently seen spending time together in Malibu, California.

As Miley Cyrus prepares to vacate her coaching chair on The Voice following the NBC series’ 11th season, she and her actor fiancé have been spending time together frequently and were most recently seen enjoying a meal together at Nobu restaurant.

On December 3, In Style shared a photo of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth during their time off, which featured the singer and The Voice coach in a cherry-covered black sweater and heart-covered Doc Marten boots. Meanwhile, Hemsworth kept his own style more basic with a gray sweater, jeans and black Nike tennis shoes.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth called off their engagement in September 2013 after three years together but ultimately reconciled at the end of last year. A short while later, Miley Cyrus surfaced with her engagement ring back on and has been wearing the stunning Neil Lane diamond ever since.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth both own homes in Malibu, California, and are frequently seen together in the area. However, these days, Miley Cyrus is busy filming live episodes of The Voice and doesn’t have as much free time on her hands as she has in the past.

Earlier this year, following several seasons in which Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani were alternating seasons as coach, Miley Cyrus was brought to the series as a new cast member and joined the first ever two-male, two-female coaching panel for Season 11 with Alicia Keys.

Throughout this year, Miley Cyrus has been linked to a feud with Adam Levine and while the two co-stars have yet to confirm any such drama between them, many believe they are secretly at odds.

Prior to her stint on Season 11, Miley Cyrus “totally butted heads” with Adam Levine when she appeared as Christina Aguilera’s Season 10 adviser, Us Weekly revealed earlier this year.

“[Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus] both have short attention spans,” said a source close to the singing competition. “They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

Meanwhile, the Us Weekly source added, “Blake and [Miley Cyrus] got along extremely well!”

Throughout Season 11, Miley Cyrus and her male co-stars have jokingly bickered on the show, but when it comes to a full-blown feud, fans have seen nothing of the sort. That said, Miley Cyrus will not be featured during The Voice Season 12 when her co-stars, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, return to NBC. Instead, Gwen Stefani, the current girlfriend of Shelton, will be reprising her role on the show for Season 12.

In a statement to Deadline in October, Paul Telegdy, the President of the Alternative and Reality Group of NBC Entertainment, confirmed the news of Miley Cyrus’ exit after Season 11, but assured fans she would be returning to the show next fall for The Voice Season 13.

“We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to Season 12. With [Miley Cyrus] returning for Season 13, we’re truly ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in our coming seasons.”

Around the same time, Miley Cyrus took to her Twitter page to confirm the news with her fans and followers.

To see more of Miley Cyrus and her co-stars, including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys, tune into new episodes of The Voice Season 11 on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
