AT&T Stops Nokia Mural Sales Amid 3G Fault

AT&T has halted the sale of the Nokia Mural after it was determined that the device was not delivering 3G connectivity as promised. The error was revealed by AT&T memo screen capture and is being blamed on a Nokia manufacturing facility.

Most of the remaining devices have already been sent back to Nokia for a re-flash, while AT&T has until Sept. 25th to send any outstanding devices back to Nokia according to an AT&T representative.

Users can choose to wait for a newly flashed 3G unit to be sent back to them or for those who would prefer a different device one can be request from AT&T customer service.

Currently Mural users are able to receive 2G data services on devices which have not been re-flashed. [Via Electronista]
