New ‘Silent Hill: Revelation’ Motion Poster Is Its Own Teaser Trailer

The new motion poster for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D features the creepy nurses and is its own teaser trailer (since we’re doing that these days).

The Silent Hill franchise may be floundering on game consoles, but the film franchise is set to make a big comeback with Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which will see release six years after the original film adaptation in 2006.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D‘s official synopsis via ScreenRant:

“In Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.”

The film borrows several plot elements from the video game Silent Hill 3, merging them with the original Silent Hill video game, which was loosely-adapted to screen in 2006 by Christophe Gans. Under director Michael J. Bassett, the film stars Adelaide Clemens as Heather Mason, Kit Harington as Vincent, and Carrie-Anne Moss as Claudia Wolf, all characters from the video game franchise.

The motion poster embedded below features the nurses, long-time staples of the horror series since the video game Silent Hill 2. They bridge that gap between scary and sexy quite well and completely on purpose (since Silent Hill is supposed to be all about psychology).
