The Real Housewives of Dallas is currently filming Season 2. Bravo decided to pick up the newest installment of the franchise for another season but it isn’t going as anticipated. The ladies all stood out uniquely last season, some of them looking worse than others. After the reunion, things seemed to die down but there was some drama over the summer. When the ladies watched the playback of the Real Housewives of Dallas , they weren’t too proud of how they represented themselves.
Last season, Brandi Redmond and LeeAnne Locken were arch enemies on the Real Housewives of Dallas . They didn’t see eye to eye and when Redmond would attempt to be funny, Locken was mortified. Things between them were worked out toward the end of the show, and it appears that they now have a minimal friendship. It is unfortunate for the network though because they were banking on the ladies feuding again. According to Starcasm , the Real Housewives of Dallas will likely be canceled after Season 2 runs because there isn’t any substance. All of the ladies are reportedly getting along and too afraid to confront one another for fear of looking foolish.
Each cast member of the Real Housewives of Dallas had a role in the charity world. A lot of the filming happened in and around that world. LeeAnne Locken was high in the social rankings and she was mortified at the behavior some of the ladies displayed. She was the most confrontational of the bunch, and when she blew up, it was intense. There was a lot of drama surrounding the charity events and the ranks in society for the Dallas women, all of which caused a lot of chatter across social media.
After one huge meltdown from LeeAnne Locken on the Real Housewives of Dallas , things were not the same. There is still bad blood between Locken and Marie Reyes. The two worked in the charity world together and were good friends. The Real Housewives of Dallas ruined that between them and things got really bad at the end. It was so out of control that Locken actually threatened to kill Reyes. While she may have said it out of anger and with no intention behind it, the threat sent fear through her former friend. Reyes declined to participate in filming for Season 2 because her safety was not guaranteed.
Rumors have been circulating that the Real Housewives of Dallas was already canceled but as of now, it will still air on the Bravo network. Filming for Season 2 is happening, which is why it is being leaked that the show is more boring than producers would care to admit. With all of the ladies behaving and saving face when around the ones they don’t like, there isn’t much to watch. Viewers tune in to see all of the crazy antics that happen and without the blowups and physical altercations, it just won’t be the same.
It is sad that the Real Housewives of Dallas may be over after the second season airs. There was so much potential for the ladies to expand their stories and really draw in the viewers. LeeAnne Locken is the queen bee of the show and one of the most disliked in the franchise for some fans. The tension centered around her and most of the other ladies, especially because she put a lot of them down for not being as proper as they should be. Brandi Redmond wasn’t afraid to stand up to her and now it appears the two are at least pretending to be friendly. Without all of the animosity and drama, the Real Housewives of Dallas is sure to be canceled after next season.
