Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Are Getting Married After His Short-Lived Romance With Sofia Richie [Report]
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may be ready to take a major step in their relationship.
Although the couple only recently began speaking again, a new report claims they have gotten so serious about one another that they are actually considering getting married.
“She’s already talking as if they are engaged,” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine on November 9. “Selena will get married in private, just to show them she doesn’t need [her family’s] approval.”
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have a long history together, but for the most part, their relationship in recent months has appeared strained. In fact, the two were involved in a full-blown social media fight just months ago due to Justin Bieber’s romance with Sofia Richie. That said, Justin Bieber reportedly has Gomez convinced that a wedding would solve their issues.
“She thinks if they just bite the bullet and get married, all of their problems will disappear,” the source said.

Justin Bieber and the troubled singer were last seen together in Beverly Hills at the end of last year. However, Gomez also attended Justin Bieber’s “Purpose World Tour” show in Los Angeles in March.
At the time Gomez showed her support for Justin Bieber at his show, Bieber posted a throwback photo of himself and the singer on Instagram. In the picture, Justin Bieber was seen kissing Gomez as they stood together in a swimming pool. Although the couple wasn’t dating at the time, Gomez seemed to approve of Justin Bieber’s post and added the message “Perfect” in the comments.
While things between Justin Bieber and his ex-girlfriend appeared to be headed in a romantic direction at the time, Bieber was spotted with his on-again, off-again flame Hailey Baldwin weeks later and in July, he was linked to another rumored flame, Kourtney Kardashian. Then, in August, Justin Bieber seemed to confirm his romance with Sofia Richie with a photo post on Instagram taken of the two of them in Japan.
In the weeks that followed, Justin Bieber continued to spend time with Richie and at the end of August, the couple was seen getting cozy with one another in Mexico, where the model was celebrating her 18th birthday.

Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie were seen publicly numerous times throughout August, but by September, they were confirmed to have parted ways as Bieber headed to Europe for his tour.
“They were never officially together, but more casual hanging out and having fun,” a source told E! News at the time. “It was super-hot and heavy, and because Justin doesn’t want a relationship right now, he wanted to cool things down. It wasn’t an intentional cool-off, [it] just sort of happened on its own.”
Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie were first spotted together in Laguna Beach, California, and most recently seen in London.
“They are still friends though and will continue to see each other like they did before they were dating,” the insider shared. “They are taking a backseat though on the romance side of things and just focusing on being friends at this time.”
Timing is just “not good for [Justin Bieber],” the source added.
Since parting ways, Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie appear to have reunited at least once. Last month, as Justin Bieber performed a number of shows in London, Richie mysteriously landed in town and was photographed at one of his after-parties in the area.
