The case is closed, even before it was opened, as an anonymous tipster called the Los Angeles Police Department claiming that Adam Levine was abusing his wife, Behati Pinsloo and their one month old daughter. After investigating the claims by doing a wellness check, the LAPD determined that it was a malicious claim by someone who wanted to do harm to Levine and family.
For some time, rumors have swirled around that there was trouble in paradise for Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, and it was all part of a The Voice curse , as Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Christina Aguilera saw their marriages crash and burn since being on the show, according to previous reports by the Inquisitr . But Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have taken the next step, and added an addition to their family, as their baby girl was born last month, named Dusty Rose Levine.

Last Wednesday, the LAPD Juvenile Division got a call that said that Adam Levine of Maroon 5 had hit his baby girl, born 9/21 in the face, according to TMZ . The anonymous tipster also suggested that Levine was smacking his wife Behati around , and that there was a domestic violence situation.
The LAPD paid the Levine family a visit, and spoke to Adam and his wife, and found no visible injuries to Behati or the baby, and declared the report unfounded. Sources close to Adam Levine believe it is unfair that being in the public eye makes you the low hanging fruit for such horrible accusations with malicious intent.
Adam Levine states that he respects the LAPD, and is grateful that they wrapped up their investigation so quickly. Reportedly, there will be no more investigating, and the case is closed.

Adam Levine and family are not the first victims of malicious anonymous tips, or even swatting, where police or other law enforcement are told there is an active shooter or crime scene, only to find out that it was a horrible prank, and police have entered a building with guns drawn. Hollywood Life says there was no validity to the claims that Adam Levine was involved in abusing his wife Behati Prinsloo, or their newborn, Dusty Rose.

A suggestion that anyone would strike a newborn seems unusually cruel, and Adam Levine as a new father was forced to prove that he did not do something like that. It is difficult to imagine that any mother would tell anything but the truth to authorities. Family and friends of Levine says that this whole event is unfortunate.
“[It is] unfair that being in the public eye means you sometimes fall victim to false, atrocious allegations.”
First time parents tend to go overboard in protecting their newborns, so even the accusation did not have any ring of truth. Just this week, Behati Prinsloo went out for the first time with friends and without the baby since giving birth, and Adam Levine was on Daddy duty.
People Magazine said that Behati posted her first post-baby selfie before heading out with friends. She took a full length shot in her walk-in closet.
“After 3 weeks of breastfeeding every 3 hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol, I left the house to see my girls for dinner. Life is so beautiful, can’t believe how lucky I got.”
Adam Levine confesses he knows nothing about parenting, but watching your instincts kick in is a beautiful thing.
