Cassandra Searles: Miss Washington 2013 Accuses Donald Trump Of Continually Groping Her, Treating Contestants ‘Like Cattle’

Cassandra Searles is the latest woman to come forward and claim that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her, with the former pageant winner claiming the Republican candidate groped her and invited her to go to his hotel room three years ago.

The Miss Washington 2013 came forward on Wednesday in a Facebook post that outlined Trump’s treatment not only of her but of other contestants in the Miss USA pageant, which was owned by Trump.

Searles commented that Trump “probably doesn’t want me telling the story about that time he continually grabbed my a** and invited me to his hotel room.”

In a longer comment, Cassandra Searles talked about what has become a common accusation among the young women who competed in Trump’s pageants — that he degraded the women and treated them like “property.”

“Do y’all remember that one time we had to do our onstage introductions, but this one guy treated us like cattle and made us do it again because we didn’t look him in the eyes? Do you also remember when he then proceeded to have us lined up so he could get a closer look at his property? Oh I forgot to mention that guy will be in the running to become the next President of the United States. I love the idea of having a misogynist as the President. #?HeWillProbablySueMe ??#?iHaveWorseStoriesSoComeAtMeBro? ?#?Drumpf?.”

There has been a wave of other women coming forward in the wake of the so-called Trump Tapes, a 2005 recording of Trump on Access Hollywood in which he bragged about aggressively pursuing women that he found attractive.

“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful [women]—I just start kissing them,” Trump said on audio first published by the Washington Post. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything… Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.”

The accusation from Cassandra Searles comes within hours of a number of other Miss USA contestants claiming that Donald Trump also treated them inappropriately. One former contestant told the Guardian that Trump would come into the dressing room when the women were naked inside.

The woman said that Trump had an attitude of “I can do this because I can” and made the contestants feel very uncomfortable.

“Mr Trump just barged right in, didn’t say anything, stood there and stared at us,” said the woman, who asked not to be identified.

“He didn’t walk in and say, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry, I was looking for someone,'” she continued. “He walked in, he stood and he stared. He was doing it because he knew that he could.”

And also on Wednesday evening, the New York Times published the accounts of two women who claimed that Trump groped them over the course of more than 30 years. Jessica Leeds claimed that Trump grabbed her breasts on an airplane flight in the 1970s. The other woman, Rachel Crooks, said that Trump kissed her on the mouth when she was a 22-year-old receptionist. Crooks said it was unwanted and made her feel uncomfortable.

Donald Trump has responded by threatening to sue the New York Times, with spokesman Jason Miller vehemently denying the allegations.

“[F]or the New York Times to launch a completely false, coordinated character assassination against Mr. Trump on a topic like this is dangerous,” Miller said in the statement (via CNN). “To reach back decades in an attempt to smear Mr. Trump trivializes sexual assault, and it sets a new low for where the media is willing to go in its efforts to determine this election.”

Miller’s statement did not mention the accusation from Cassandra Searles, and it is not clear if Donald Trump or his campaign has yet addressed the claims from the Miss Washington 2013.
