Katie Holmes To Return $5 Million To Tom Cruise Before Marrying Jamie Foxx?

Recent rumors suggest that if Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx will get married before 2017, then Suri’s mother has to return $5 million which she got from Tom Cruise.

According to Radar Online, Holmes and Cruise’s divorce agreement prohibits her from publicly dating until 2017.

An insider revealed to the outlet that when the celebrated couple decided to end their marriage, the actress signed a clause that prevents her from publicly embarrassing Cruise in any way. As per the agreement, she is not even allowed to talk about Scientology, about Cruise’s life, or publicly date another man for five years after the divorce.

“She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri,” the insider further added. “Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”

Apart from the aforementioned amount, Gawker via Nicki Swift reported that as per a prenuptial agreement between Holmes and Cruise, the actress will receive approximately $400,000 per year for Suri’s medical and educational expenses until she turns 18.

Earlier this year, Holmes and Foxx were spotted together and it looked like they broke the said agreement. Us Weekly reported that the Dawson’s Creek actress was seen in a dressing room with the Django Unchained actor. The latter was on hand to perform with Barbra Streisand in Brooklyn and the rumored couple chose to spend some time in his private dressing room just before the concert.

“They left from the dressing room area a few minutes apart from each other, but she was hanging out in his dressing room with him after the show,” an insider allegedly revealed to the magazine.

An insider further revealed to Us Weekly that the couple in question are in a serious relationship for the past three years.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” the insider added. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

The Radar Online source further revealed that if she breaks the contract, then she is bound to lose a huge sum of money. The source revealed that the rumored couple didn’t think that hanging out during Streisand’s concert was a violation of the public rule.

“At this point, Tom doesn’t care much what Katie does,” the insider said. “But he wouldn’t mind getting his $5 million back!”

So, if the reports about her involvement with Jamie Foxx are true, then does she have to return the huge amount she took from the Mission Impossible star?

Furthermore, there were also reports that Foxx was tired of sitting around waiting for anything to happen between him and the love of his life. So he decided to directly have a word with Suri’s father and asked him to release Holmes from her divorce agreement.

“Jamie called Tom and told him that he loved Katie, and that he thought that being in a stable family would be best for Suri too,” the insider revealed.

In response to Foxx’s plea, the Top Gun star simply accepted the fact that everything is over between him and his ex-wife and she has every right to move on in her life.

“Tom, despite initial reservations, agreed not to stand in the couple’s way,” the source reveals. “After the man-to-man conversation, even Tom could see how serious Jamie and Katie are.”

Gossip Cop, however, debunked all these claims.

Both Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx never acknowledged their relationship in public. Even their representatives have never officially talked about this rumored relationship. So, it looks like the wedding details and the divorce agreement are only speculations.
