Nick Viall Goes On Epic Group Date With Becca Tilley And Ashley Iaconetti As ‘The Bachelor’ Meets The Backstreet Boys

Nick Viall is going from The Bachelor to a boy band. The Bachelor star went on an epic group date with seven lucky contestants, and two more Bachelor alums also showed up. According to E! News, Viall and his ladies crashed a Backstreet Boys concert at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles to perform a choreographed dance to one of the ’90s boy band’s biggest hits, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” Nick Viall’s ladies served as backup dancers for the performance—after only one hour of rehearsals!

Viall also showed off his slow dance moves after the Backstreet Boys selected one of his ladies to slow dance with him to an a capella version of their mega hit love song, “I Want It That Way.” Nick and his date even got some tips on how to dance from BSB member Brian Littrell.

But Nick Viall wasn’t the only Bachelor veteran to take the stage at the show. ET Online reports that fan favorites Becca Tilley and Ashley Iaconetti were also in attendance. The band serenaded The Bachelor beauties with their 1999 song “Get Another Boyfriend.” Both Becca and Ashley have appeared on multiple seasons of The Bachelor franchise, but they are not competing for Nick’s heart this season. In fact, Iaconetti is a close friend of Viall’s.

Nick Viall is already having a roller coaster of a Bachelor season. Us Weekly revealed that one of his first outings was a one-on-one date to a carnival in California. Viall and his date were spotted at Balboa Fun Zone in Newport Beach, where they took a romantic ride on the Ferris wheel.

Nick Viall was an unlikely pick to headline the latest season of the long-running rose-themed reality show, which is set to premiere in January. Not only does he have a controversial history with the ABC franchise—Nick was runner-up on two season of The Bachelorette, and he got cold feet when it was time to pop the question to Jen Saviano on Bachelor in Paradise—but, at age 36, he’s also one of the older leading men of the series. Some fans have been vocal about the fact that most of Nick’s ladies are in their early to mid-20s.

Producers of the show have been generous about sharing behind-the-scenes photos this season, perhaps as an attempt to beat the spoiler sites from doing so. There has already been a sighting of ABC’s resident jeweler, Neil Lane (keep in mind, Nick Viall has already met with him three times in the past to pick out bling for possible proposals!), a snap of a helicopter (which, by the way, is a regular mode of transportation on The Bachelor), and even a shot of one of Nick’s ladies wearing a wedding veil!

Executive producer Mike Fleiss also teased that there will be a football-themed date coming up.

While Nick Viall’s reality TV track record hasn’t been great, he is hoping for a much different outcome this time around. Nick told People that he hopes to find the woman that he will spend the rest of his life with. Of course, those star-studded dream dates come with the territory, but Nick Viall isn’t focused on that—and he’s definitely not planning to join a boy band.

“It’s fun to be on an adventure date, but sometimes there is less communication and to me, that’s the biggest focus,” Viall told People. “I’m sure the dates will be a lot of fun. But I didn’t want to be the Bachelor so I could go bungee jumping!”
