Is Taylor Swift hoping for a Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik breakup?

According to a new report, that certainly seems to be the case. Celeb Dirty Laundry outrageously claims that the “This Is What You Came For” songwriter isn’t fond of Zayn Malik, basing their claims on the fact that the twosome didn’t sit together at the Tommy Hilfiger show in support of Gigi Hadid earlier this week.

The model, who was walking the runway that evening, did not have her boyfriend and her best pal sit next to one another, and according to the gossip outlet, it’s all because of an apparent feud between the duo that has has been kept under the carpet until now.

Zayn is reportedly under the impression that Taylor Swift uses her famous friends for publicity stunts, and Gigi happens to be one of them. Now that she’s single again, Celeb Dirty Laundry alleges that Swift is back to her old ways, trying to divert all of the attention on her in any given moment.

When she’s in a relationship, Taylor behaves a different way than when she’s single and ready to mingle. The singer more or less tries to overshadow her friends at anything they have going on for themselves, because, according to the outlet, everything has to revolve around Swift — at least when she’s single.

“Zayn Malik knows that Taylor Swift is trouble and that the actress makes everything she does about her, and that’s why he’s not only keeping his distance from her, but hates that she’s using both him and Gigi Hadid for her selfish, image-obsessed ways.”

The gossip webloid is very expressive when claiming that Taylor knows what’s going to drive the most publicity. Gigi’s relationship with Zayn Malik has been a hot topic in the media for months, so what better way to celebrate her first public outing as a single woman than to show up to Hadid’s Tommy Hilfiger runway show?

CDL adds that Zayn is all too familiar with Taylor Swift’s attention-seeking ways, recalling the time the singer famously dated Malik’s former One Direction band member, Harry Styles. A source adds how Taylor used Harry for the sake of publicity, and when she was done with the relationship, she wrote a handful of songs about him, leaving Styles feeling hurt and devastated, as mentioned by Daily Mail.

Malik sees this pattern repeating itself, yet this time around, it’ll be with Gigi. Celeb Dirty Laundry alleges that everyone in Swift’s squad more or less follows her orders, fearing that they’ll end up finding themselves being written about in a song.

As for why Taylor Swift hasn’t urged Gigi to dump Zayn just yet, the webloid continues by alleging that the “Shake It Off” songstress is making the most out of the publicity she can get from the couple’s relationship, but when the time comes and Taylor finds herself over Gigi’s romance, she’ll most definitely force Hadid out of seeing Malik if she wants to remain friends with her.

“Considering how Gigi Hadid is a member of Taylor Swift’s squad, there’s very little chance that the model will push her out of her life to appease her boyfriend Zayn Malik,” a source for the gossip site continues, alluding to the idea Gigi would rather end her relationship with Malik than to have Taylor turn her back against the 20-year-old.

As confusing as Celeb Dirty Laundry makes it sound, Taylor Swift is branded as an opportunist who uses her friends and their happiness until she’s gotten what she wanted out of it. After that, she’ll pull the strings and plan out their future. If Zayn has got to go, Taylor seems to think she can make that happen in a matter of seconds.
