For the comic book fans, the “Flashpoint” episode will be a bit different on the show, according to an executive producer of The Flash. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producer revealed that the show will focus on the Barry Allen angle of Flashpoint.

“The stakes in the comic book in Flashpoint were global and the stakes in this episode are very much just about Barry, his existence, and the people that he loves,” Andrew Kreisberg tells EW.

The Flash Season 3’s first two episodes have a glowing early review. According to ScreenRant, comic book writer Kevin Smith, who directed an episode of The Flash, is impressed with the first two episodes of the series.

“They’re shooting Episode 6 right now, so I’ve seen Episode 1 and 2 cut together. Phenomenal. Phenomenal. The bar is high, so I’m kind of worried about that.”

The Flash Season 3 spoilers reveal that the first episode will start three months after Barry Allen went back in time to save his mother. Barry is enjoying his fantasy life that involves his mother, and it is something he feels he deserves after all he has been through since becoming The Flash.

Barry is no longer active as a hero in the alternate future and Wally West — played by Keiynan Lonsdale — is the Kid Flash keeping the city safe, which allows Barry to spend time with his family.

By going back in time, Barry has sacrificed his relationships with most of the people his loves and most of his friends do not know him in this timeline.

The trailer teases Barry trying to develop a relationship with Iris, who doesn’t know him well and Cisco, who is now an eccentric billionaire who can’t imagine living in a world where he is not rich.

The executive producer revealed that the billionaire Cisco idea was considered for Earth 2.

“We just had a lot of fun with the idea of seeing that version of the character. We learned a lot last season doing Earth-2 and watching the dichotomy between the characters, especially watching how different they could be, and having such an amazingly talented cast that can pull off multiple versions of these characters. It’s just always fun to have Barry have to interact with different versions of the people that he knows well, because the audience knows them so well. A selfish, rich, cowardly Cisco couldn’t be further from the Cisco that we all know and love.”

The trailer suggests that Barry Allen regrets his decision and tries to return to the original timeline. Barry will also need the help of his alternate timeline friends to make it happen.

Barry’s decision to bring his mother back will also result in two new villains, who are Doctor Alchemy and speedster Savitar.

Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, is joining the cast in The Flash Season 3. It is reported that he will play Doctor Alchemy. It will be interesting to see how the villains interact with The Flash in the upcoming season.

Reverse Flash who appeared in the trailer will also return, primarily as Barry’s consciousness. He is seen warning Barry about the consequences of altering the timeline in the trailer.

There is not much information on how Caitlin Snow and Harrison Wells will be different in the alternate timeline. Is it possible that one of the characters are killed off?

Barry Allen’s task will involve using what he knows about his friends in the alternate timeline to get the best out of them, even though their lives are completely different in Flashpoint.
