Britney Spears Talks Dating, Career, And Happiness Of Motherhood
There is no question that the princess of pop, who had experienced a bit of a difficult patch in her career, has since rebounded and found her place back at the top. The entertainer and mother of two has a successful ongoing Vegas residency and a new album from which the first single was a huge success. This marks the singer’s ninth studio album and reminds what staying power Spears has.
Unfortunately, along the way, like many young stars, Brit experienced problems with addictions and had her heart broken a number of times which got her off track. However, Spears has been single for some time now and seems to be more focused than ever, not to mention happier.

In an interview, Britney spoke of plans for the near future and as to whether she is seeking a new romance or relationship. Spears even divulged details about a date she recently went on during which she determined the guy wasn’t into her, noting that it even is a reality for famous people. E! shares Brit’s account.
“I had a really bad date. I mean, it was bad. I’ve been single for ages and had a date with a guy I liked. I was getting anxious, worrying he wouldn’t like me. We went to the movies, but I could tell right away it wasn’t working. It was sort of awkward. So after the movie I came home and that was it. It just didn’t work…He just wasn’t that into me. I liked him. He knew that. But he definitely didn’t feel the same. It happens to everybody. Being famous doesn’t make you any different.”
When it comes to the men in her life, Spears says her best relationships are with her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. Britney’s last relationship was with TV producer Charlie Ebersol, to whom she was engaged and was with for 8 months until June of 2015. Since then Spears has focused on the loves of her life and realizes just how much they have changed her for the better and made her more accepting of herself. People notes the star’s words.
“Becoming a mother and being with my boys has made me so much more accepting of myself. I’m their mom, whatever. That has been a really big thing for me over these last few years,”

The 34-year-old, who shares her two sons, aged 10 and 9 with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, seems more grounded and certainly happier in life since her stint of being single. The singer revealed earlier this year that part of her road to finding true acceptance of herself and happiness had to do with enlisting the help of her life coach. An insider spoke to Music News about the impact Brit’s life coach has had on her view of herself and her determination to focus on making her career a bigger success than it already is.
“Britney’s been gradually getting better for years, and being in Vegas is a big help for her state of mind. You can see the difference in how she was in those first shows in 2013 to now. But it’s her new life coach – who she calls her ‘swagger coach’ – that’s helping her take things to the next level. She won’t tell anyone what they do or who he is, but it’s working. She’s more confident than she’s been in forever.”
The life coach doesn’t just help Spears focus on setting goals and attaining them in terms of her career, but has also helped the beauty feel more comfortable in her own skin and become at peace with her single status.
