Miley Cyrus Cancels Honeymoon Plans, Prepares For New Role As ‘The Voice’ Judge

Miley Cyrus has gone full wrecking ball on her honeymoon plans with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, according to Us Magazine. The 23-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer can’t stop changing her mind about the honeymoon plans.

Miley Cyrus has just canceled her honeymoon with fiancé Liam Hemsworth to change the location from Bora Bora to something else. A source familiar with the couple’s plans revealed to Us Weekly that the two recently canceled flights and lodging on the island with the population below 10,000 people.

“They had the entire trip planned, but Miley just decided she didn’t want to go there anymore. They have yet to pick a new locale.”

It’s unclear why Miley Cyrus decided to relocate their honeymoon, and it’s unknown what destination they’ll pick in its place. The singer has previously considered having a small summer beach ceremony in Australia, but with her “erratic decision-making,” she scrapped the idea. The source claims that the lovebirds won’t change their wedding date and are planning to marry this fall, but Miley Cyrus, who will serve as the coach on The Voice this fall, needs to pick the honeymoon destination first.

That’s not the only obstacle the lovebirds face, as revealed by the source.

“Miley is pretty adamant about having a small, private ceremony. But Liam wants a really big wedding, so I’m sure they’ll come to a compromise.”

Miley Cyrus and the Hunger Games star announced their engagement in 2012 but went their separate ways the following September. They then spent more than two years apart but realized they belong together and rekindled their romance last December.

Hemsworth has recently opened up about his rather rocky relationship with Miley Cyrus and said in the interview with GQ Australia that it was hard, adding that they were both “going in different directions” in 2012 and their split “needed to happen.”

“We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time — we both needed that.”

And everyone surely wants to attend Miley Cyrus’ wedding — if it’s ever going to happen. Dolly Parton, the singer’s godmother, recently spoke to Us Weekly and said she would love to be at her wedding “if she ever decides to really go and do it.”

But Miley Cyrus’ wedding plans are not the only highlight of her life this fall, as the “Wrecking Ball” singer is preparing for the launch of the new season of The Voice, in which she serves as a coach, according to Rolling Stone magazine.

NBC has recently unveiled a first look trailer for the upcoming season of its hit reality show The Voice, in which Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will for the first time put their coaching abilities to test. The clip also features a musical number performed by all four of the judges.

Miley Cyrus enters the NBC show in a historic time, as it’s the first time in The Voice’s history that two women have taken over two of the four coaches’ chairs. Up until now, it’s been only one woman and three men serving as coaches.

Coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have served as coaches since the show’s very first season and this season is no different. However, this time, the two are teaming up with Miley Cyrus and Keys. Levine has previously admitted that Cyrus is “youthful spirit we’ve been missing,” while Shelton added she is “a great performer” and she has “this ear for music.”

Miley Cyrus told country singer Shelton in the teaser that she might steal one or two country artists during the next season, which premieres on NBC on September 19, so he shouldn’t let his guard down.

“As much as the world likes to make this girl catfight scenario, that’s actually Blake and Adam.”
