She certainly looks more voluptuous than a mere buck 20, but she’s shorter than one would imagine. Her bra size is a 34D, according to Healthy Celeb, and her measurements are actually 38- 26.5-41. However, eight months ago, that was not the case.
While Kim Kardashian was pregnant, she gained a lot of weight. This is often unavoidable. After her pregnancy, The KUWTK star was left with 70 pounds of extra weight. That’s not uncommon, especially considering that Kim Kardashian West is 35-years-old, plus she had a baby. Weight gain during pregnancy is perfectly normal, but getting the weight off can be really tough. In general, with each passing year, it becomes more difficult to lose weight as the metabolism slows.
Despite Kim Kardashian’s weight loss, she still looks very curvy. It is very hard to imagine she only weighs 120 until one considers her height, but she looks amazing. Kardashian is down 70 pounds after months of effort to lose that baby weight.
According to the Inquisitr, the KUWTK beauty explained on Instagram that her new figure didn’t come easily.
“It isn’t easy to just bounce back. I was so jealous of women who had these cute little baby bellies and would gain 25 pounds — and then, a few weeks after giving birth, somehow look exactly like they did before they were pregnant … That’s not me.”
Kim Kardashian was pregnant and could not diet radically. Dieting during pregnancy can deprive unborn babies of needed nutrients. After the baby, however, she went on a low-carb diet and lost 70 pounds on the Atkin’s 40 plan. She also hired a personal trainer and had a non-surgical tummy tuck, according to the Inquisitr.
For Kim Kardashian, weight loss is nothing new, and neither is the Atkin’s diet. It was actually her father, Robert Kardashian, who helped her find the most effective diet for her when she was in high school. For some, the Atkins diet can be extreme, but from what the KUWTK star says about working it into her lifestyle, she believes in consistency, day after day, year after year, rather than a strict regimen followed for a short time. It is a lifestyle diet, not a crash and binge situation. Crash and binge patterns just make people gain even more weight over time. The reality TV star is quoted by the Inquisitr.
“It seems like common sense to me now ’cause I just eat such a healthier lifestyle, so it doesn’t seem like the biggest mystery. I get up everyday, I work out—that’s just half the battle. I mean, I think it’s a little bit more what you eat, then work out, but you have to really stay focused.”
Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy weight came off really fast. Although eight months may seem like a lot, that is nearly nine pounds per month. That rate may not be possible for everyone. It is important to use moderation in dieting and be consistent over months and years.
