Shannon Beador Furious That Vicki Is Talking About David’s Affair Behind Her Back
Shannon Beador was very thankful for her husband on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County because he had surprised her with a birthday party and a vow renewal event so they could start over in their marriage. It’s no secret that David Beador had cheated on his wife, as he carried on an eight-month long affair with another married woman. Shannon’s children learned of the affair and told her about it. Rather than get a divorce, Shannon wanted to work on her marriage, and she was dedicated to making it work. Now, they are on the path to recovery.
According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that she was quite alright with Vicki Gunvalson not being invited to her vow renewal. Of course, David was the one who planned everything, and he is not a big fan of Vicki. He is convinced that she lied about the cancer scandal and knows a lot more about Brooks Ayers faking his illness than she’s admitting to. Beador felt betrayed by Vicki and has revealed that she has no interest in being her friend. So when Gunvalson started comparing their marriages behind Beador’s back on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Beador flipped out.

“When watching Vicki’s birthday celebration, I was a bit taken aback when Brianna asked why Vicki wasn’t invited to my surprise birthday party and vow renewal. It’s just a ridiculous question. There is absolutely no reason why David would ever include Vicki in one of the most intimate and important nights of our lives. The last exchange between them at the ’70s party did not end well. Neither Vicki nor Kelly should have been a part of it. Vicki said I have ‘thrown away our friendship.’ She needs to look at herself because her lies caused the demise of our relationship,” Shannon Beador reveals in her blog for Bravo, adding that Vicki needs to take accountability for everything she has done to ruin friendships.

Of course, Shannon isn’t the only person to renew her vows on the show. During this week’s episode, Gunvalson talked about her own vow renewal and how it didn’t work. And she started comparing her marriage to Donn to Shannon Beador’s marriage to her husband David. Beador didn’t appreciate the comparison, as she doesn’t see any similarities. Plus, Beador didn’t appreciate Gunvalson talking about David’s affair, especially since Shannon Beador has done everything possible to move on from this heartbreaking event.

“And how dare Vicki say that David is going to pay for the affair for a long time. I have not had an intimate conversation with her in over a year. She knows nothing about what is going through my head or the progress we have made. Vicki needs to focus on her own issues (and not go to her typical deflection) and not worry about mine,” Shannon Beador reveals in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, according to Bravo.

It is possible that Gunvalson is just lashing out at Shannon because she’s hurt over not being invited to her birthday party, which was planned by David. She’s clearly being ousted from the group, and she may feel hurt by that, since she keeps saying that she’s the original housewife and that The Real Housewives of Orange County is her show. Luckily, she has Kelly Dodd in her corner, as Kelly is not a big fan of Shannon Beador. According to PEOPLE magazine, Kelly feels that Beador set her up at the 1970s party, where some of Shannon’s friends attacked Dodd and called her a prostitute.
