NFL Rumors: New England Patriots Trade Bryan Stork To Washington Redskins
In the NFL, it is sometimes better to get something rather than nothing. According to Fox Sports, the New England Patriots are trading Bryan Stork to the Washington Redskins. The starting center for the Patriots was on the verge of being released before management was able to find a deal at the last minute.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has never been one to be concerned about trading away talented players. Given his track record over the years, Belichick has a right to be confident that he and his staff can find pieces that can help the New England Patriots.
Chandler Jones is 26-years-old, entering the prime of his career. He is also one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. Since Bill Belichick knows that the salary cap is going to be an issue in the upcoming years, he decided to send Jones away to the Arizona Cardinals.

Bryan Stork is not an elite player in the NFL. However, he is more than solid. Stork has been a starter for the New England Patriots. He even started in their Super Bowl victory two seasons ago. None of that matters to Bill Belichick if he feels that there is a better option available.
There are some issues with Bryan Stork. He was kicked out of practice after a scuffle, as reported by ESPN. Bill Belichick hates practice fights with a passion. Stork also has some issues with concussions, which is becoming quite the growing problem in the NFL.
Other issues with Bryan Stork involved his personality. It has been reported that he does not get along well with members of the media, something that NFL players need to do. Stork also has been said to have issues getting along with his teammates because he is so intense of an individual.
Bryan Stork was on the verge of being given a release by the New England Patriots. Though word has not been revealed as to which side initiated the discussions, the Patriots were able to find a last minute trade partner in the Washington Redskins, a team that needs depth along the offensive line.
Kory Lichtensteiger is normally the starting center for the Washington Redskins. Last season, he suffered a nerve injury. While Lichetensteiger was said to have recovered fully, he recently felt soreness in his arms. The Redskins wanted to take precaution, so they turned to Bryan Stork.
The Washington Redskins did not have to pay too high of a price to acquire Bryan Stork. They are only giving up a conditional draft pick. Had the New England Patriots put Stork on the waiver wire, another team in the NFL could have beaten the Redskins and acquired the young center.
David Andrews now has a chance to become the starting center for the New England Patriots. Though he was not selected during the NFL Draft, the former Georgia Bulldogs star has done enough to impress the Patriots. At the very least, they believe that they can survive with Andrews as a starter.
If David Andrews does not work out, then the New England Patriots can turn to Josh Kline, another player that was not selected in the NFL Draft. Kline has seen a lot of action at both left guard and right guard, but he has enough skills to play center.
Sometimes, things just don’t work out in the NFL. That was the case for Bryan Stork with the New England Patriots. He now gets a chance to see if he can turn things around with the Washington Redskins. If not, then there is a very good chance that Stork is out of the league soon.
