Who’s hosting?

The 16th annual BET Awards will see last year’s hosts return for a second stint, as the 2016 edition of the award show will be hosted by Black-ish‘s leading actors, Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross.

Ross and Anderson spoke out to People about returning to host the big show again after first teaming up to steer the show in 2015, where they teased that there’s a lot of excitement in store at the awards event.

“On Black-ish we’re a really incredible bottle of champagne,” Ross told the site of hosting the show for the second consecutive year earlier this week. “On the BET Awards it’s like you take that bottle of champagne and you shake it up and you pop that cork!”

Who’s performing?

A number of the biggest stars in the world are currently scheduled to perform at the 2016 BET Awards.

BET announced that Young Thug, Jennifer Hudson, Erykah Badu, French Montana, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Tori Kelly, CHLOE X HALLE and Bilal, Bryson Tiller, Usher, Desiigner, Future, Janelle Monae, Alicia Keys, Maxwell, Sheila E., and The Roots will all be performing at the event.
