‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Finale Spoilers: JoJo Fletcher’s Shocking Final Rose Ceremony

The Bachelorette 2016 finale may be airing a couple of weeks from now, but ABC has already released a teaser, possibly revealing JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers’ fate. At the end of last Monday’s episode, a clip seemingly from Fletcher’s final rose ceremony aired, and it was clearly not what fans have expected.

The Bachelorette 2016 finale teaser started with a dramatic voice over from JoJo Fletcher. Since the beginning, she claimed that she only agreed to be the next Bachelorette because she wanted to find love. She held that she wanted what The Bachelor‘s Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have. It seems, however, that things did not go as well as planned.

“I wanted to find love. And I found it with a man that will not be able to love me in the way I said I wanted to be loved,” Fletcher said in the promo.

The promo then cuts to The Bachelorette 2016 lead crying. During the confessional, JoJo Fletcher said that she might be having a panic attack from what she is about to do next. She was seen making her way towards a beautiful setup, where the proposal was supposed to take place.

“I’m so scared to let him go,” she said, while viewers were treated to a sneak peek of a mystery man holding an engagement ring box.

Based on The Bachelorette 2016 finale promo, Fletcher ended up turning down the proposal, and eventually saying goodbye to the man she loves.

“I fell in love with you and I still love you, but what you did to me – it’s not right. But I wanted you to know it’s really hard for me to not accept this love.”

While we are weeks away from The Bachelorette 2016 finale, multiple insiders, including Reality Steve, predicted that JoJo Fletcher ended up choosing Jordan Rodgers. Some fans, however, claimed that their relationship is doomed from the beginning since he just apparently agreed to go on the show to get famous.

In the most recent The Bachelorette Season 12 episode, Fletcher finally confronted Rodgers about the cheating allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar. Turns out, even before the reality series began, she already knew about Rodgers’ infidelity as she ran into his ex-girlfriend in Dallas where she warned her against his intentions.

JoJo Fletcher felt attracted to Jordan Rodgers since Episode 1. She, however, knew that she could not end up with him, without knowing what truly happened between him and his ex-girlfriend.

“It was hard bringing those issues up with him, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to move forward without having that conversation. I could tell he was surprised, and there was a moment there when I was worried that he was about to shut down,” JoJo wrote in her People blog.

Jordan denied ever cheating on Brittany but admitted that he put his ego and football career above their relationship. Although he confessed to flirting with other women while he was still with Brittany, he claimed that he never cheated on her. Jordan said that he felt frustrated with his career and he ended up taking it out on people.

“I’ll be the first to admit that I was awful. I wasn’t the best person,” he said.

JoJo seemed more than happy hearing his side of the story. The Bachelorette 2016 lead felt relieved that he felt comfortable enough to open up to her and admit his shortcomings. JoJo added that seeing this side of Jordan made her even more sure that what they share is something special.

“Hearing him open up and tell me that he was immature and maybe not the best person in past relationships meant a lot. He didn’t try to place blame on anyone other than himself. I respected that. And it made me realize that the connection between us was more than just physical.”
