Selma Blair Carried Off On Stretcher After Bizarre Mid-Flight Incident

Actress Selma Blair reportedly had an outburst in an airplane while en route to Los Angeles from Cancun, Mexico. According to a report by People, as told by witnesses who were on the flight, Selma was in first class drinking wine when she suddenly started crying and talking about an unnamed man. A witness shared what the 43-year-old actress was saying.
-“He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink. He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”
Two nurses on the flight tried to help Selma Blair because they were concerned about how she was acting. The nurses tended to the actress and they also searched her bags for pills. The pilot then reported to the tower that a passenger was mixing pills with alcohol.
An official who witnessed the incident said that Selma Blair was put on a stretcher and was met at LAX by paramedics when the plane landed; she was transported to a nearby hospital.
-“It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don’t know what sort of prescription medications.”
In addition, a representative from the Los Angeles Fire Department said that they had received a call at 2:54 p.m. “for an individual that was sick on a place and transported the individual to a local hospital.”
According to Us Weekly, Selma Blair had spent the Father’s Day weekend in Mexico with her ex-partner Jason Bleick and their four-year-old son, Arthur Saint Bleick. They were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. In a previous interview with the magazine, Selma Blair jokingly talked about reuniting with her ex.
-“I have to find the man that will do this with me. I’m going away with his dad to Mexico this weekend for Father’s Day, so maybe we’ll come back reunited.”
