‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Put On Blast By MTV Producer? He Reportedly Denies Unfair Editing Claims
Leah Messer has slammed MTV for “bad editing” several times since Teen Mom 2 began, but is the reality star and mother of three being honest about her accusations? According to a new report, Leah Messer may be lying to fans about her on-screen portrayal.
After claiming producers edited Teen Mom 2 Season 6 to make it seem as if she put her twins, 6-year-old Ali and Aleeah, to bed at midnight on a school night, Leah Messer told fans they also edited Season 7 to make it look as if Jeremy Calvert had no interest in getting back with her even though she was 99 percent sure he did.
Following Leah Messer’s allegations against MTV, a producer reportedly spoke out against both her and her co-star.
On June 10, the Stir shared several recent tweets from producer Morgan J. Freeman, claiming he had fired back at Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans, both of whom had slammed the network in recent weeks due to what they claimed was “bad editing.”

“Sometimes having more eyes on a situation is inherently safer than none. Do your homework,” Freeman wrote to fans at the end of last week. “You are the eyes. This is the process. We document what is happening. We are not parents. We are not police. We do open up powerful discourse about many many things. That is good.”
Although Freeman didn’t say exactly what his tweets were in reference to, they seemed to be a response to Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans’ past claims.
“I can’t make people do what I’d prefer they do. Can you?” Freeman asked in closing.

Leah Messer called out MTV for their “fake” TV show in a series of tweets in April.
One read, “I’m 99.9 % sure those feelings were mutual. I could go in detail, but won’t. Oh, how I love this fake a#% TV show.”
In March, Leah Messer suggested producers made her look bad on the show.
“It’s so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching. It makes me feel like my story just isn’t enough,” Leah Messer wrote to fans.
Leah Messer also threatened to quit the show at the time.
“It hurts to feel BETRAYED by the ones I THOUGHT I could trust with my story,” she wrote. “It goes to show you how ‘THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD’ really is. I hope to continue to share my story but I REFUSE to allow it to be twisted for the benefit of a NETWORK!”
Throughout her time on Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer has faced allegations of drug use and bad parenting due to a number of odd occurrences throughout the series’ run. At one point, Leah Messer was seen nodding off with a baby in her arms, but according to her, she was not on drugs but rather suffering from anxiety and depression.
In May of last year, Leah Messer entered a treatment program in Arizona, where she remained for 30 days. During her time at the rehab center, Leah Messer’s divorce from her former husband Jeremy Calvert was finalized.
In addition to Leah Messer’s on-screen behavior, which raised questions about her potential struggles with substance abuse, she has also been accused of having a drug problem by both Calvert and her first husband, Corey Simms.
