Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Flaunt Rekindled Romance: What Her Girl Squad Fears
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just proved that actions speak louder than words when it comes to rumors that they have split. Rather than give endless interviews or turn to social media, Gigi and Zayn demonstrated their rekindled romance by walking with their arms wrapped around each other in New York City, pointed out E! News.
And while Hadid and Malik settled for using their body language to speak for them, a source dished to E! News about what happened during their romance hiatus.
“Gigi and Zayn are back together. They spent part of this week together and spoke about some issues they had and decided they want to work it out with each other,” revealed the insider.
“Gigi loves Zayn so much.”
However, Hadid did take the confirmation one step further by sharing a picture on Snapchat. Customized Nutella jars showed off the names of the lovebirds.
“Kitchen goals,” wrote Gigi for the caption.
But although Hadid may have achieved her goals in the kitchen, insiders aren’t so sure about those relationship goals. Gigi and Malik repeatedly have gone through breakups followed by makeups followed by breakups.
“During her birthday they were fighting,” one insider revealed to E! Online.
“They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along,” clarified another source.
And it is Hadid who is steering the relationship, both in terms of their most recent split and their reconciliation. Gigi reportedly split with Zayn following their last battle, which focused on communication problems.
All these breakups, even when followed by reconciling, have caused repeated heartbreak for Hadid. And members of her girl squad have been quick to offer support. Among her girl squad expressing concern for Gigi, Taylor Swift is leading the way, according to a source cited by Harper’s Bazaar.
After Swift split with Calvin Harris, she and Hadid formed a mutual support team.
“Gigi and Taylor are actually confiding in each other as best friends during this time,” shared the source. “They can really relate.”
Hadid and Swift have repeatedly shown that they are keeping the girl squad strong by spending time together. Taylor delighted her audiences by giving Gigi a guest appearance on her world tour. In addition, Hadid was one of the stars in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video. And Taylor gave Gigi an amazing gift for her 21st birthday of a trip to Coachella.
It’s not just Swift who is showing concern for Hadid, however, as she endures her rocky romance with Zayn. An insider told E! News that even though Gigi keeps trying to keep her relationship with Malik on course for romance, her friends are worried that she’s headed for heartbreak by repeatedly reconciling.
But Hadid is ignoring the advice of her friends. The supermodel’s pals fear that she repeatedly is the one doing all the work when it comes to their relationship. Although her girl squad does not feel that Zayn is a good boyfriend and are concerned that she repeatedly is the one who gives in despite her busy schedule, Gigi is holding onto romance.
“Gigi’s friends think she should completely end it because Zayn has not been the best of boyfriends lately, and Gigi is extremely accommodating to him when she is the one with the crazy schedule,” shared the insider.
“Gigi still wants to make it work though.”
As for that busy schedule, it’s not just about her off-again-on-again boyfriend. Hadid does make time for her girl squad members and has enjoyed some rest and relaxation with her buddy Kendall Jenner.
In addition, Gigi recently hosted the Maybelline New York Beauty Bash at the Line Hotel in Los Angeles. And to cap off her list of activities, the supermodel headed to the Guys Choice Awards, earning the Our New Girlfriend Award.
